Barry's POV:
I'm sitting on the couch watching TV when I hear a loud pounding on the door. I get up, rush to the door and look out the peephole. It's Iris and she looks like she's been crying. I open the door and she rushes me crying. I wrap my arms around her after closing the door.Barry: (concerned) What's wrong, what happened?
She doesn't answer she just cries with her face buried in my chest. I pull back, grab her by the hand and lead her to the couch. I turn off the TV and sit down beside her.
Iris: (crying) Francine just showed up out of the blue today.
Barry: (confused) Francine?
Iris: ( crying) My birth Mother.
Barry: Oh. Why?
Iris: (crying) She wants to be apart of me and Wally's lives. I want nothing to do with her. Cecile's my Mom.
Barry: That's fine. If you want nothing to do with Francine then don't have anything to do with her. Plain and simple. Neither you or Wally owes her a thing. She made her choice when she decided to leave you. Don't let her break you like this.
Iris had stopped crying and was just sitting back on the couch staring at the blank TV screen.
Iris: You're right. I'm just so mad that she had the nerve to show up like that. That's so disrespectful to my Mom.
Barry: Yes it is, but something tells me that D.A. Cecile West can handle herself.
Iris looks at me and smiles.
Barry: There's that beautiful smile.
*One hour later*
Iris' POV:
Barry and I are cuddled together watching TV when my phone dings alerting that I have an incoming text message. I check it and it's from Caitlin.Iris: Bare I have to get going.
Barry: Okay. Are we still on for tomorrow?
Iris: Of course.
I kiss Barry, grab my things and leave.
*Later at Caitlin's house*
Caitlin: (concerned) What are you gonna do?
Iris: (shocked) I don't know.
I look down at the table still in shock of what I'm looking at.
Iris: My parents are gonna be pissed and my Dad is gonna kill Barry. How am I gonna tell them, how am I gonna tell Barry?Caitlin: I don't know how you're gonna tell your parents. That's gonna be a tough one, but why don't you text Barry a picture of the test?
I take a picture of the test, but before I send it to him I tell him there is something I need to tell him.
Iris: I think I'm gonna go. Thanks for everything Cait.
Caitlin: No problem. Call me if you need me.
Iris: Okay.
I hug Caitlin and leave.
*The next day*
Wally's POV:
Yesterday was crazy as hell, but everyone seems to be over it and over Francine. When Iris got back home she and I let Francine know that we wanted nothing to do with her and we reassured Cecile that she's our Mother and we wouldn't have it any other way. Call it our twin telepathy, but I can feel that something is off with Iris. I haven't seen her all morning, but I can definitely feel somethings wrong with her. I go to her room and knock on her door. She doesn't answer, but I can hear her crying so I just walk in. She looks at me and she looks like hell like she's been crying all night. I go sit next to her on the bed and wrap her into a tight hug.Wally: Whatever it is just know you're not in it alone. We'll face it together like always.
She starts crying harder.
Iris: (crying) It's really bad Wally.
Wally: (concerned) What is it?
Iris opens the top drawer of her side table and pulls out three sticks and hands them to me. I can't believe what I'm seeing. My sister's pregnant.
Wally: (shocked) When did this happen?
Iris: (crying) I don't know how far along I am for sure yet, but if my math is right and I'm sure it is then it happened at Big Bear two months ago.
Wally: (laughing) The morning you two missed breakfast and you said it was because Barry still had a headache so you sat with him until he was ready to get up?
Iris: (chuckles) yup.
Wally: Does Barry know and or his father know?
Iris: Yea he knows and when I talked to him last night he said he told his Dad and he flipped out.
Wally: I bet he did. When are you gonna tell Mom and Dad?
Iris: I think I just wanna tell Mom first.
Wally: Good idea. Well you know I'm always here for you and if you need me with you when you tell Mom I'll be there.
Iris: No this is something I have to do on my own.
Wally: Good luck.
Iris: Thank you.
I hug Iris and leave her room. She may not need luck when she tells Mom, but she's damn sure gonna need it when Dad finds out.
A/N: * Until next time my dear Peaches...*
