Barry's POV:
After everyone is settled and unpacked my friends and I decide to hit the slopes for some sledding while our parents are preparing lunch. We're all pretty competitive, but we wanted to test the newbies out and see just how fun and competitive they are. So we challenged all three of them to a race.
Cisco: Okay Thawne you're up first. Pick your opponent.
Eddie looks at each one of us studying us individually for seconds at a time. He then looks at me and squints.
Eddie: Barry.
Cynthia: Alrighty. Barry do you accept his challenge?
Barry: Let's do it.
Eddie and I get on our sleds. Cisco stands behind me and Ronnie stands behind Eddie. Before the countdown Iris runs over and gives me a hug.
Iris: You got this babe.
She kissed me and moved out of the way. Jessie stands between our sleds with both her hands in the air.
Jessie: Okay boys I want a clean race. May the speed be with you. 5...4...3...2...1 RACE!
Jessie drops her arms and our partners push us off. Everyone starts cheering as Eddie and I speed down the hill. I have a pretty good lead on him, but I slide over a sheet of ice that was covered by snow and my sled spins out of control. I managed to hop off of the sled. I began to roll unable to stop myself and I hit a tree head first.
Iris: (yells) BARRY!
Iris' POV:
We watch in horror as Barry rolls head first into a tree. None of us know what to do. He's not moving.
Iris: (panicked) We have to do something.
Ronnie: Yea we have to get down there.
Jessie: We don't know where the ice is. We could lose control just like he did.
Cisco: Screw that I'm going down there.
Ralph: I'll go too.
Ronnie: I'm in.
We see Eddie slowly making his way up to Barry trying not to fall. When he gets over to Barry I yell down to him.
Iris: (yells) EDDIE IS HE OKAY?!
Eddie: (yells) HE'S OUT COLD!
I feel my heart sink.
Wally: Okay we have to get down there. Iris you guys go get his Dad.
Iris: (worried) Be careful.
I hug Wally then Jessie, Caitlin, Cynthia, Parker and I run off.
