*Four Weeks Later (March 9)*

Iris' POV:
My Mom has been home from work for a couple of hours now. I really need to talk to her, but I can't seem to stop myself from pacing my bedroom floor. I've known that I'm pregnant for a month now and still haven't told my parents. I need to tell them because I already have a baby bump and I'm tired of hiding it. Plus the longer I wait the worse it'll be. I grab the test and walk into the family room with them in my hoodie pocket. I sit down next to my Mom on the couch. Here goes.

Cecile: Hey sweetie. How was your day?

Iris: Okay. How was work?

Cecile: Work was good.

Iris: (deep sigh) Mom I need to talk to you.

Cecile: Okay. What's up?

I hang my head trying to hide the tears that were forming in my eyes, but when they start rolling down my face my Mom lifts my head so that I'm looking at her.

Cecile: (concerned) What's wrong honey?

I take the test from my pocket and hand them to her. She's in a state of shock. I can't help, but cry harder.

Iris: (crying) I'm so sorry Mom. I didn't mean for this to happen.

My Mom says nothing. She's just sitting there staring at the test in her hand. She's silent for about fifteen minutes before she finally find the words to say.

Cecile: I'm so disappointed in you Iris. Why didn't you come to me if you were ready to have sex?

Iris: (sad) I don't know.

Cecile: Have you told Barry?

Iris: (sad) Yes.

Cecile: (angry) Where is he, why isn't he here? This is his mess too!

Iris: (sad) He wanted to be here, but I told him I wanted to tell you alone.

Cecile: Does Henry know?

Iris: (sad) Yes.

Cecile: How long have you known?

I don't answer that question. I just hang my head again.

Cecile: Don't get quiet on me now. How long have you known?

Iris: (sad) A month.

Cecile: (yelling) IRIS ANNE WEST. A MONTH? YOU SHOULD'VE BEEN AT A DOCTOR. WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?!

I start crying again.

Iris: (crying) I'm sorry. I don't know what else to say.

Cecile: (annoyed) Go to your room until your Father gets home. Oh and you can call Barry and tell him get over here because he's going to be here when your Father finds out.

Iris: (crying) Yes Ma'am.

*Three hours later*

Barry's POV:
I'm sitting in the living room at Iris' house with her and her Mom. Mrs. West looks so pissed and I can't blame her. We've been sitting in an awkward silence for I don't know how long. Wally comes in and breaks the silence. Although that may have made things worse.

Wally: Judging by the thick tension in the room I take it you told her.

Cecile: (shocked) You knew?!

Wally: Yes.

Iris: (annoyed) Thanks a lot Wallace!

Wally: Sorry.

Cecile: (mad) So did everyone know except your Dad and I?

Iris; (sad) Yes.

Cecile: (mad) Great.

Wally sits on the other side of Iris.

Wally: I'm sorry sis.

Iris: (sad) It's okay.

Mr. West enters the room and Iris grabs my hand. All the color drains from her face. She's extremely afraid and so am I. Even Wally looks afraid. Mr. West sits next to Mrs. West.

Joe: (worried) What's going on in here?

The room falls silent.

Cecile: I'm not telling him so I suggest one of start talking.

Iris: (deep sigh/nervous) Dad I'm... I'm pregnant.

Mr. West goes from zero to a hundred real quick.

Joe: (yelling) WHAT THE HELL DO YOU MEAN YOU'RE PREGNANT?! THIS BETTER BE A JOKE!

Barry: (afraid) I'm sorry Mr. West, but it isn't.

Iris: (crying) Daddy I'm so sorry.

Joe: (mad) Me too!

Mr. West leaves the room.

Cecile: Barry you should go now.

Barry: Yes Ma'am.

Iris: I'll walk you out.

Iris and I leave the room. When we get to the door I hug and kiss her then leave.

A/N: * Until next time my dear Peaches... *
