I woke up on Saturday morning and I looked around still adjusting to my surroundings. Kerrie and I are going to get the keys for my new place and I should get moved in tail end of next week once the decorating is done. I grabbed my phone from the night stand and checked the time 730am and I already had a text from Maddy Maddy😎: Hey girl have you met him yet xx I chuckled at her enthusiasm for my new position but being honest I am so nervous to meet him. Me: Good Morning to you to 😂. No I haven't met him yet probably won't see him till Monday maybe even later x Maddy😎: 😫 I laughed at her reply she was such a drama queen Me: Don't worry I will tell you when I do. I get my keys today for new place and move at end of week. You should see Kerries place it's amazing. Hope mine is nice. Oh and you hope you come cosy soon Maddy😎: Girl if it has anything to do with Luke Bryan it will be gorgeous. So do you think you will get to meet the wife. And you bet your bottom dollar I will be visiting you 😋 Me: I don't know I work for Kerrie so I don't think we will all be socialising like besties. As I made my way downstairs I could here a familiar southern drawl. Omg he is not here I said to myself. I took a deep breath and made my way towards the voices. They fell silent as soon as I entered the room "Hey" I said nonchalantly. "Hey Lexi, this here is Luke but I'm sure you already knew that" she laughed "Luke this is Lexi my new assistant" she said I put out my hand and he took it holding it a little longer than he should have for a married man "Pleasure to meet you Lexi" he smiled and winked. My stomach flipped at his gesture and I'm sure my face is the colour of beetroot. "Likewise Mr Bryan" I smiled "Mr Bryan is my daddy, call me Luke" he laughed "Ok. Kerrie I'll just get some breakfast and we can get going" I said trying to act professional. "No problem, Luke I just have these papers for you to sign and then you can get off and see the boys and Caroline" she said picking up on the fact her was staring at me. "Oh yeah sorry, yeah where's the pen" he stammered I went about getting some cereal and coffee and he sighed the papers. "Nice to meet you Lexi, I'm so glad I'm busy enough that Kerrie needs a beautiful assistant like you" he smiled as he left. Kerrie glared atbhim and pushed him out the door. When she came back in she said "He's married Lexi don't even go there"
