Today was moving day. I had a brilliant first week at work everyone has been so nice, well I say everyone not Luke he has been avoiding me ever since Ethan said we went to lunch, come on it was lunch. Ethan did ask me out on a date but I told him I wasn't looking for a relationship at the moment and I said I would rather be friends with him.
I stood at the door of my new place just watched as the removal guys took in the last piece of furniture.
"Can you just sign here ma'am" the driver said
"Sure" I said scribbling my name.
I watched them drive off and there lorry was soon replaced my a truck that looked familiar. The door opened and I saw the last person I thought I would see here today
"Hey" Luke said as he walked towards me
"Speaking to me now are we" I smirked
"Can I come in" he asked
I held the door open and watched as he walked in
"Whoa this place is just Whoa" he said
"Yeah I love it. So what can I do for you Luke" I asked
"I just wanted to apologise for the way I have been this past week, it was no way for me to behave" he said
I was a little taken aback, I wasn't expecting an apology.
"It's ok I just wasn't to sure what I had done" I said
"Absolutely Nothing darling, I was just being an idiot. If you want to date Ethan then that's fine," he said as he made his way closer to me.
"Luke not that it's any of your god damn business but I ain't dating Ethan or anyone in fact" I snapped
"Calm down darlin I was just saying."
"So is there anything else you came for because I'm expecting Kerri and she may find it weird to find you here in a Saturday when you should be with your family" I said
He stood and stared at me and I could feel my stomach flip at the sheer beauty that was looking at me.
"Nope" he said smiling
"Why are you smiling" I asked
"Because your blushing, I make you blush and I know that you are trying to remain calm because I make you nervous" he said closing the gap between us
"You think highly of yourself don't know" I smiled
"No not at all. I just" he moved closer "I just needed to do this"
