As I opened the door I was not expecting Caroline to be standing on the door step. "Hey Lexi" she smiled "Hey Caroline how are you" "I'm great just wondering how you where settling in and I wondered if you and Kerri would like to go out tonight. Luke is being a moody ass and I really need a girls night, what you think" I wonder if what happened with us has caused him to be moody. Well I haven't been out in ages so fuck it. "That would be brilliant come in" I said "No it's ok, I need to go anger ready, I will meet you and kerri at mine say about 8" she smiled "Fantastic, I will see you then" I said closing the door. I pulled my phone out to call Kerri and I giggled to myself as I thought my life has just turned into an episode of Melrose Place. I Had two hours to get ready and get over to Luke's, eh I mean Caroline's. Stepping out the shower I looked through my clothes looking for something sexy but not slutty. I decided on my blue dress and heals.

I styled my hair and called a cab to take me to Caroline's. I was meeting Kerri there and then we would go into town. As I pulled up outside her place I saw Luke playing with the boys they where throwing a football. As I stepped out Tate three the ball at Luke and it hit him in the head because his eyes where fixated on me. "Daddy your silly" Tate laughed as Luke picked up the ball and rubbed his head. He didn't say anything he just waved over. Caroline opened the door "Whoa that dress is gorgeous" she said hugging me, "Come on in, Kerri is fixing us some drinks before we go" I walked inside and sat down, kerri handed me my drink and we all chatted. The back door opened and it was Luke "Ladies, sorry for interrupting I'm just grabbing a drink. Caroline baby when you leaving" he smiled at her "Your mood has changed you where a right grumpy ass earlier" she snapped "Caroline Just leave it I was tired. I'm ok now" he said as he smiled at me and Kerri. "Good, well we are going out, I will be home late, make sure the boys don't stay up to late ok" she said kissing him on he cheek "Yes mom" she said flashing those pearly whites "Come on ladies let's paint the town red" she said walking out. Kerri followed and I was last. As I got to the door I realised I had forgotten my purse. "Two seconds I forgot my purse" I called out "Hurry up" Caroline laughed. I went back into the Kitchen and Luke was leaning against the counter "I forgot my purse" I smiled "You look gorgeous" he smiled "Thank you" I blushed "I better get going" I said "No problem, see you later darlin, I can't wait for La" he winked I went bright red as I rushed out the door. It's getting harder being around him.
