I had to speak to Kerri it would be better coming from my than from Caroline. I sent her a quick text to come meet me in my bus as I needed to speak to her.
Ten minutes later she came in
"I take it this is why you want to speak to me" she said holding her phone up showing me a picture of me holding Lexi's hand when I went to hers last weekend.
"Yes it is actually and before you start I would like to remind you that I am your boss" I snapped
If looks could kill I would have been dead
"Don't start that crap Luke, I know there two sides to every story. So if you want to tell me yours then we can try and sort this out"
"What has Caroline said" I asked
"She said that you are having an affair with Lexi and that she is really upset and she wants me to fire her" she said
"And did she happen to mention that she almost got Lexi raped" I shouted
"WHAT! And I see you ain't denying the first allegation"
I looked down and said
"It's true"
"Luke Jesus you now know I can't have her working here no more. Fuck"
"Whoa hold up you ain't firing her"
"What do you mean, she's my employee"
"And your mine" I yelled
"Luke what about the kids" she said
"I love them more than life itself. I didn't plan this to happen"
"So she pursued you. That's why I can't have her working here. Do you realise what the media will do with this. Y'all and Caroline are like royalty. The perfect marriage two beautiful boys....."
I interrupted her
"I know Kerri but who actually has someone set up with an asshole who tries to assault someone in fact look at this" I said showing her the picture of Lexi's face.
She covered her mouth with her hand
"I'm sorry Luke. I didn't think that she would do something like that."
"I can, I tried leaving her a few years back before you started but she didn't take that well. It's the money and the lifestyle she loves not me. And Lexi didn't pursue me, it went after her. She is amazing Kerri like actually amazing. The connection we have is mind blowing" I said smiling as I thought to the times we would just sit in silence and cuddle.
"Do you love her" she asked
"Yes I do. That's why I need to protect her from Caroline. I need you to get her here ASAP. But I need you to pretend to Caroline that she is coming out early because you need to fire her in person. She can't find out."
"Ok. I will arrange everything ok. And please can you stay focused tonight. I don't need you messing up on stage ok"
"Thank you so much. I will call Lexi and tell her to get her things ready. You book the flights" I smiled
"Your welcome and Luke Lexi is amazing" she laughed
I smiled as I called Lexi telling her to get her things sorted. I can't wait to hold her.
