Caroline PoV

"I think Luke is having an affair" I told my sister Ellen
"No way he loves you" she said handing me a glass of wine.
"I have no idea what made him so mad last night but I think it has something to do with Lexi" I said
"What the new assistant" she said
"Yeah he has been acting weird ever since she showed up. She seems to good to be true."
"You can't go accusing without evidence" she said
"Well I'm gonna find out what's happening. If he thinks for one minute I'm letting him go he has another thing coming. Without him what do I have, he forgets I supported him when he first started out" I snapped
"Oh come on Caroline you can't bring that up that was over 10 years ago and look what he has given you now" she said
"Yeah and if he leaves me for a young slag where does that leave me" I said
"Thought you and her where friends" she asked
"She is Kerri's friend. She is a nice girl and definitely Luke's type."
"Caroline his type is you. Stop overthinking things"
"Something doesn't sit right. He was fine until the bbq and then we had quick sex, he didn't seem his usual sensitive way when we fuck, it was if he was elsewhere." I said
"Well don't do something in haste like you always do."
"Oh I won't. He ain't making me homeless"
"Caroline even if y'all did split he would never leave you homeless"
I finished my glass of wine. And grabbed my keys
"Where you going" Ellen asked
"To pay a little visit to a certain little assistant"
"Don't kick off"
"Oh I won't"
I said making my way to Lexis
As I entered the street I saw a familiar Chevy parked up outside her place. I saw the boys running to Luke. Oh this is fucking cosy I thought. Her friend took the boys inside and I saw Luke speaking to her. He reached for her hand. I fucking knew it. I watched them walk inside before I sped off. I swear to god I ain't sitting back and watch her steal my life
