"Ready Alec?"
Alec bent down getting into his starting position before looking over at his dad.
"Ready Dad?"
He just smirked and look forward.
"As long as the old man's ready."
"I'll show you boy," his grandpa stated following his lead to bend over.
"Alright, so since I know that you three will run this race no matter what I say, here are the rules. Once around the pack perimeter, nothing dirty and no wolves. Alright Dad?"
"Yes Lettie."
"Alright Xander?"
"Anything for you baby."
"Dad." Alec groaned shoving his dads shoulder playfully, in all honesty he was used to his parents playful behavior.
"And what about you Mr Bloom."

"I promise to play fair to give the oldies a chance." Alec responded sending mum a little wink."Alright, on your mark , get set , GO." She shouts lifting the white cloth to signal the start of the fun race.
Alec POV
I took of using my back leg to give me the extra boost I needed to propel in front of my dad and grandpa and run in the lead. Dad and grandpa thought they would win, but they won't. I have youth on my side and intense training ever since I was 18 years old. I took a sharp left turn and carried on running , the images of the trees, houses and people just blurred past me in flashes as I carried on propelling past trees and shrubs until I see my mums smiling face in the distance. She was beautiful, sometimes she never saw it, but I always reminded her of it. Dad was a lucky man, I am a lucky son.
I ran towards mum and picked her up twirling her around before placing her down and reaching over to kiss grandma's cheek.
"So what do I get for winning?" I asked cheekily.
"Who said you won son?"
I felt my breathe leave my body as I slowly turn around, dreading the view before me.
But their he stood , my dad in all his sweaty glory staring at me with his mischievous green eyes. I should have known, the great Alpha Xander wasn't going to loose a race not even for his sons pride.
I smiled and ran my hand through my slightly damp hair, a smile gracing my features.
(I imagine him with two deep dimples)
"Your twenty seconds late." He spoke with a tiny hint of boast.
Just then grandpa ran up towards us in last.
"You two have alpha blood, it gives you both speed so this doesn't count." He huffs.
"Come on Grandpa, I thought you were a big shot warrior." I teased knowing perfectly well what he was capable of.
"Oh I am, just ask your mum or your sisters." He speaks ups till trying to catch his breath.
I raised an eyebrow, " speaking of sisters where are the two rats?"
