I shut the door of my room and immediately stripped off my dress and got into the shower, allowing the hot water to cascade down my shoulders.
The water was burning hot and my skin was already beginning to redden but it just felt good. It made me feel something other than this sick twisted feeling in my belly.

I turned the water off and wiped myself dry, I put on a fresh pair of underwear and wrapped my towel loosely around my body before walking out of the bathroom and to my suitcase.

A ton of nighties and gowns yet nothing to keep my warmth.

I shouted out in irritation and allowed my knees to collapse and fall to the floor. Tears were already cascading down my face. I have no idea how far things went.

If we win against dad, we wouldn't have a mother- nor a father.if we lost, we wouldn't have a life.

I buried my face in my knees and tried to take calming breaths.

Ours lives could have been so different, we could have grown up like Alec and Aliza. But we didn't.

One thing is for sure. If I ever become a mother I will grow up my children only with love.

My room door opened and I didn't even need to look back to recognize his scent- citrus and chocolate.

He was dressed in a baggy black sweatshirt and grey joggers. His blonde hair is a mess at the top of his head and his green eyes was searching the room for me.

When he saw me on the floor he immediately walked over, pulling off his hoodie and putting it on for me.

I sighed in content. It smelt like him. It was warm and big enough to reach my thighs.

He sat down on the floor next to me, underneath his hoodie was a thin white shirt that looked like it gave him no protection from the cold.

"I have nighties and gowns only." I whisper trying to explain why I was sitting on my floor in my underwear.
"And it's freezing."

He chuckled under his breath and wrapped his arms around me allowing me to rest my head on his chest. his body heat surrounded me and his scent, like a drug enveloped my senses. The room was so silent I could hear his heart beat in rhythm with my own.

"Take my sweater sweetheart, I'm used to the cold." He just sat there with me and didn't speak. He knew I just needed him near me after everything that happened today.

"Come with me please, I want to show you something."

I looked at him and nodded, he stood up and gave me his hand before leading me out of my room , we walked into the elevator- went a floor up, walked across a corridor, through another until we stood outside a room.

It wasn't a room I had been in before as I would have surely remembered it. A huge bed up against the wall , a tv and fire place opposite it. A furry rug with a sofa and armchairs was off to the side. With a desk and chair in the opposite corner.

Two doors lead to a huge bathroom and another to a walk in closet but what took my break away was the giant folding doors that lead to a balcony.

Despite the cold I pushed the doors open and stepped outside to take in the view. Beautiful mountains covered in white snow. Pine trees scattered along the mountain side until it disappears under the fog.

"It's such a gorgeous view."

"I know. Now could you step more to the right.- little bit more." He stopped as I shuffled. " perfect , now my view is complete."

I burn red as his eyes were trained on me and not the landscape behind me.

"Who knew you were this charming bloomie." I managed to say.
