"Wait Wait Wait!" My brother set his coffee cup down and sat up, " you mean to tell me that you just jumped into a car with a fellow stranger and he ended up being a wolf and you met Alpha James who knows you but allowed you to carry on the journey with this guy cause he knows him? And then the Idiot just ditched you?"

I looked back at the three guardsmen who sat opposite us at the far end of the cafe, while we sat much close to the doors, even closer to the airport doors.

"The way you say it big bro makes it seem more complicated."

A dark look overcomes his eyes, " it was stupid and reckless Reneé. If Luca found out...-"

I cut him off, " Luca and the rest of you taught us how to defend our selves."

"Not against a wolf with alpha blood."

I look down to my coffee before lowering my voice even more.
"He wouldn't hurt me."

"But he would leave you alone ?"

"I don't know why he did that and honestly I would give him a piece of my mind if I ever find out why he did do it. But he won't ever hurt me."

"Dammit Renezmaé! How do you know."

I flinch back at my brothers use of my full name, " He is my mate". I whisper.

"What?!"

"He is my mate." I stated slightly louder.

"And he left you?!" The once cool headed joker of a brother started to look like Luca. More angry.

"My scent is hidden, he doesn't even know."

"Why didn't you tell him."

"That's a funny question Zinan." I took in a deep breath. " You know Dad. He announced in front of the whole party, that Craig and I were mates. He isn't going to listen to me. He didn't. I've been screaming , shouting , trying to make him believe that he isn't my mate. But nothing."

"But he has Alpha Blood. Dad would be more compliant." He stated even unsure of himself.

"That's what we can wish."

"Just come home Reneé , we need you."

"No you all actually don't , you are the back up. The twins are the trophies. And Axel is the baby. I have no purpose." I stood up from the table and walked out the cafe my brother following in toe.

"I'll come home, someday. But I want to travel. I want to see the world." He nodded.

"I'll hold them back, get out of here. Oh and." He took my hand and handed me a bundle of cash before opening a cab door and pushing me in. " go!"

And we were off. Down the highway . Somewhere far far away.

I'm sure we were traveling for a good five minutes before the very familiar black mustang overtook the tiny yellow taxi and stopped in front of it causing the driver to swerve and come to a dead beat stop.

He immediately got out of the car leaving the engine running and walked towards the taxi. He tore open the door and took my hand , pulling me out of the taxi. Bag and all. He didn't even pay that taxi driver.

"Bloom leave me!" I squabbled trying to rip my hand out of his grip.

He walked over to the passenger side and open the door. He pushed me in, he closed the door and walked over to his side of the car. He opened the door and simultaneously I opened my door and stepped off of the car to look at Bloom staring at me over the car's roof while other vehicles maneuvered around us - hooting and cussing in their mother tongue.
