"You are funny." He exclaimed, trying to hold back his laugh. As he leaned across his open room door.

I fiddled with the door handle again, using my entire weight to push against the door.

"Sweet Mama Pumpkin Pie." I whispered to my self giving the knob one more turn.

"Seriously Rojo, I cant believe you just did that!"

I squinted my eyes at him, "Excuse me , Mister perfect ! I'm so sorry that I left my room in a hurry to come and check on you. So it's not my fault that I left the room key within the room."

He shared a small smile with me, his green eyes twinkling under the bad fluorescent lights.

"We could go to the front desk-" he looked down to check his watch. " never mind it's 1:20 there would be no one awake now."

I sighed in defeat banging my head against the shut door.

"Come on Roja."

"What?"

"You arnt going to sleep in the passage  now are you?"
I shook my head gently and awkwardly followed him into his hotel room.

"I would be a gentleman and sleep on the floor, but who knows what crawling in these carpets."

I smiled at him.

"I promise not to bite you princess ," He exclaimed jumping into the left side of the bed. " of course unless you are into that type of thing , then I am all for it."

I laughed before hitting his face with one of the continental pillows.
"You better stay at your side."

I eased myself into the bed, lying on top of the covers. Keeping a safe body distance from him.

"Goodnight Rojo."

I smiled.

"Goodnight adonis." I whispered knowing he wouldn't hear it.

•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

My eyes opened bright and early the next morning and the first thing I did was look around.
He kept to his promise and kept to one side of the bed.  But shockingly I was tucked in neatly under the covers, I swear i slept on top of them last night...right?

Part of me was slightly disappointed, that cliched enough he didn't break the rule and spoon me while I slept. But I guess that's him for you.

In this last three days I figured out he was truly a  gentleman, kind hearted, good soul. Too good... I don't even think he has a bad side. let alone be dangerous.

"Morning beautiful." I rolled over and faced him, his blonde hair was sticking to his forehead and his morning voice was something that could probably go platinum.

"Hi." I whispered.

I continue to stare up at him, memorizing his features, from his free eyes, to his high cheekbones and pink lips. They looked so kissable. So irresistible.

"Ok?"

"I'm sorry what?" I asked again getting a little flustered.

"I said I am going to get you a spare key. And then get some breakfast for us before we leave."

"Leave to?" I asked

"Did you forget already? You are going to help me find my friend, soulmate?"

Aah yes, last night I agreed to help him, find a love, find someone he was ment to be with, I can't develop feelings, I can't look at him the way I do. It's not right for him or for my mate. "
