I slammed my fist against my desk in anger.
"Rouges! In the middle of my coronation party, and from all the men you so happened to be left with us. You are also the one who happens to know the wolves are coming before they even do. I want to trust you Lorenzo but you are looking extremely suspect."
"My job is to look after you, not follow your orders." Lorenzo answers sitting back in the chair.
"My father is dead, you answer to me, and God knows I don't need a body guard." I seethe.
Lorenzo remained quiet, yet he shamelessly never loose eye contact.
"I want you off the property Lorenzo, come back when you have a good excuse." I say, pointing at the door.
"You are making a mistake a Renezmaé."
"Yea well that's how you learn."
I sat in my office chair and folded my hands over my head as I heard my office door close.
My siblings and Alec were bidding goodbye to the visitors. So I was all alone on this floor.
I walked to the large windows and stared out at the grounds where the fight just took place.
How did the rouges get past all the security points with no hassle? How is Lorenzo sneaking in and out so much.
I can feel my anxiety sneaking into my chest and I shut my eyes as the tears threaten to brim.
Who was I kidding. I'm the girl who ran away from home. The odd duckling in the family. The one who spent months with her mate only for her to hide it from him. I am the girl that was almost rejected by both her mate and father.
Now someone took that broken girl and gave her a crown and told her to rule. What a mistake.
I slide down on to the floor as my fingers scroll through my contact list, landing on Zains cell.
I dial.
It rings, the sound vibrating off the walls.
"This is zain, if you have my cell number you are either family or special friend." He chuckles. "If family I'm out with friends and if friends then let's meet at the usual spot."
I smile, just at his voice.
He wouldn't want me to be broken, he gave up his life to fix ours, and now I need to live a life for both of us and I knew exactly what I needed to do.

I rejoined my mate and our family down in one of the sitting rooms. My brothers called it the emerald room, as the sofas were a deep emerald velvet, with golden edges. The walls were painted a bottle green and even the drapes matched the carpets.
"I'm sorry about today, it just seemed to have went downhill." I say taking a seat next to Alec.
"Let me tell you something Little Red." Alpha Xander spoke up, " you make me so proud, I am almost jealous of your father, that you was his daughter and not mine." He took a moment and smiled, " but then I realize you are my daughter and I'm one lucky son of a gun to have three amazing daughters and a son." He adds as an after thought.
"Hey," Alec interjected a grand smile on his face.
"You made me proud today, when you stood up to fight and asked the women to stand and fight with you." Violet smiled, leaning over to grab my hand.
In that moment I felt my heart break, this is what I wanted all my life, a mother figure, a father figure and a mate. I just earned these three by loosing two siblings.
