(y/n) and I were at the gift shop chatting and playing random games that came to mind. At the moment, we were watching some zombie movie titled Nearly Almost Dead But Not Quite. It was a ridiculous and stupid movie.
Female Lead: What do we do, Chadley?!? I thought they were dead!!!
Male Lead: Far worse, Trixandra!!! They're... Nearly Almost Dead But Not Quite!!!
Female Lead: *screams*
Dipper: Man, these movies are a lot less scary when you've actually fought real zombies.
You: And who's responsible for that?
Dipper: *chuckles awkwardly*
You: *roll your eyes with a smile before looking back at the tv* They're slow, just power walk away from them!!!
Dipper: How much you wanna bet that guy dies first?
Male Lead: *gets eaten as he yells with very poor voice acting* Ah, my face is being eaten a lot!
You and Dipper: ... *burst out laughing*
You: Chadley ain't pretty no more!
Dipper: *laughs a bit more* Yeah. *thinks for a bit* ... So uh... speaking of which... You aren't seeing anyone at the moment, right...?
You: Of course I am. *grab a nearby plush toy* Meet my new boyfriend.
Dipper: *laughs a bit awkwardly* Right, right. *rubs the back of his head nervously* So, hoof, so you know I was wondering if maybe you... wanted to... I-I mean, if you and me would ever... I mean, if maybe you...
You: ...
Dipper: ... *looks away in defeat* wanted to join me and Mabel on this mystery hunt tomorrow...? Conspiracy stuff and all that, that's all...
You: Dude, that's not a question. Of course I'll go! Mystery hunt with friends! *look at the tv* Yo, Chadley, watch out!!! *laugh*
Dipper: *laughs awkwardly, a bit sad* Yep, cuz that's all we are... *takes out a note* That's all I'll ever be... *crumbles up the note and puts it inside his vest* ... friends...
I had to admit it to myself, (y/n) would never feel the same way I felt towards her... Not in a million years...
The next day, Mabel, Soos, and I were in the forest ready for the adventure, but I was still a bit gloomy from yesterday...
Dipper: *clanks the lantern* Thank you all for coming.
Mabel: Hey, when there's a mystery, you can count on your sister-y!
Soos: *laughs* That's amazing rhyme! When you want to good, would- would you need a Soos you- oh, gosh, I don't know...
Dipper: We're here to solve the number one mystery in Gravity Falls. *takes out his journal* Who wrote this journal? Thirty years ago, the author vanished without a trace. *shines the dark light at a page* But according to this new clue, we may have found his secret hiding place! We find that author, we learn the answers to everything! We just need to figure out a way to get down there.
???: Chop it down, dudes! *stops her bike*
Mabel: (y/n)!!! What took you so long?!?
You: *turn a bit pale* !!! Uh- family stuff. *chuckle awkwardly*
Mabel: We're just glad you're here!!!
Dipper: *smiles sheepishly* Y-Yeah...!
You: Happy to be here! *walk over to greet Soos*
