How could we never notice?
This shortness of time
A limited amount
To live and to breathe
Some may leave
Some may stay
You'll know when it's time
No more pain
No more grief
Just lasting peace
I wish you could understand
Every daily battle
Fake smiles plastered on plastic faces
Survival of the fittest
Only the strong make it out alive
We all have a story to tell
Who will listen?
Who would care?
Would they stay or go?
I'll never know
I've always wondered
How we can end up so invisible?
We breathe borrowed air, sure
But to end up shoved aside
Another novelty the world forgot
I've got insecurities
You've got insincerities
Meaningless apologies
To bide your time
And strike again
This heavy blanket
Is too much to hold
It weighs me down
Makes it hard to breathe
I'm running out of air
No more time
I've got to go now

RandomThis is my shitty poetry book to help sort through the thoughts and feelings coursing through me. Some of it probably isn't real poetry but just words. NOTE: There will not be regular updates.
