I could see pins of light
In those beautiful eyes of yours

Beautifully shining in the night sky
Save me from myself
I need some time to think
Stop drawing me in
I feel the need to run away
Honey, it's not you it's me
I've always been a runner
It's how I was raised
I'd love to stay
If I only knew I wouldn't hurt you
I'm a mass of destruction
I hurt those around me
I wish your light was enough
This tunnel is so long
The dark is consuming me
It's a heavy weighted blanket
I can't ever shake free
I'm afraid
These feelings
What do they mean for you and me?
Give me room to breathe
A little time to think
