*Sorry if the title's misleading; it's not about the anime of the same name.

So I played another game of Dungeons and Dragons and I drew this while people were planning a colony (a.k.a waiting for everyone else to show up and start the game) because I was bored.

How wholesome and relaxing. Just look at that little owl!

Unfortunately for the party, the game was not wholesome and relaxing. They went out hunting, but got ambushed during the night. Those gosh darn forest elves again!

The position on this drawing is kind of eh, but in my mind Vaala was like "ExCUSE you I was ASLEEP can you NOT?!" Apparently the elves really hate us or something

The position on this drawing is kind of eh, but in my mind Vaala was like "ExCUSE you I was ASLEEP can you NOT?!" Apparently the elves really hate us or something. Also one of them turned into a bear.

We defeated them and took one prisoner, but then on the way back there just happened to be this 12-foot tall giant just meandering around the forest and I was all like "NOPE nope nopity nope not today SIR," but the party decided to send someone to climb a tree and check if the giant was actually coming in our direction...and then it noticed us. So we had to fight—and luckily we won—but I was stressed and really wanted to go back to the colony before something else happened and we all died.

After that we tried to get some information out of the elf prisoner, except when we were questioning him about stuff he turned out to A) be really dumb and B) want to die like the rest of our attackers instead of being a prisoner and I was all like "Noooo, that's depressing!" So I tried to persuade with incentives like "But we have beer!" (because there was a tavern), but it didn't work. So that happened. Also nobody else really cared about an NPC (non-playable character) that much.

Actually, I think this game had the most critical failures (rolling a 1 on a 20-sided die) so far. I rolled two, someone else rolled four, and I think two other people each had one as well. I don't know if the Dungeon Master (person controlling everything other than the party itself) rolled one, but the number must have been really low for determining the intelligence of the prisoner, since they ended up speaking like a caveman most of the time and only counted to three. I guess these elves aren't fancy like Legolas.

That's all for now. I hope you enjoyed my art, so see you next time!
