Look at its cute little face!

This craft was a bit of a challenge for me since it's more 3D than I'm used to, so using a paper pattern definitely helped, I usually work with 2 main pieces (front and back or left and right) and some accents, like I did with the Bat-Bat plush from Part 94 of Volume 1, "A New Art Form*".

For a higher level of difficulty, I'm pleased with how it turned out, even though I made a few mistakes. I know orcas have dorsal fins, and I had a fabric one for this plush, but I only remembered it after I completed the whole thing! I couldn't believe I'd made what was to me an obvious error, but I reminded myself that this little orca is a heartfelt and hand-made gift, so that makes up for it. Besides, this orca is special.

I hope you enjoyed today's art. If your curious, you can go check out Sandcat- 's story, too. Thanks so much for reading, and see you next time!
