This drawing is based on medieval crests you see for knights or noble families. It's not quite how I normally draw dragons, but it was cool to try something new.
I think it turned out pretty nice in the end—but only after I colored the whole thing did I realize that I'd forgotten to draw the wings, haha! Silly me. But hey, winged dragons aren't the only ones in stories, so I guess you could say my forgetfulness resulted in more variety. Funny how things happen like that, huh?
