*Inspiration credit goes to the Warriors book series. I do not own the books or concept.
Along with practicing shading, I've been working on other things, too. Here's one of them:
Isn't she adorable? Man, if I'd learned these tips when I was writing "A Dog Lover's Dream, A Cat Lover's Hell", I would've been on a roll!
The main things I improved upon were the shape of the paws and my technique for drawing fur, as well as the body shape as a whole. I had a lot of fun drawing this, and I think it turned out super cute. Who could possibly resist that precious face?! Just looking at it makes you want to scoop her up and give her a big cuddle...
Some specific details for this drawing include the heart mark on her forehead and calico markings. The latter was suggested by _Loki_Doki_ , who taught me these tips, and who encouraged me to explore into a fandom that I hadn't really come across before: the Warriors series, which is about clans of cats living in the wild. I found the lore quite interesting, and we both had fun coming up with a Warriors-esque name for this kitty: Poppybreeze. The name paired with the drawing makes for a cat who's super happy and fluffy—and that's my kind of cat!
I hope you enjoyed today's drawing. Thanks so much for reading, and see you next time!
