When Jake tells you that he likes you, you just can't believe it.

"C'mon Jake. Tell me who you like."
You laughed trying to make it seem as though you were just curious, not as though you wanted it to be you. The corners of his mouth turned up and you leaned in. "Well..." you laughed.
"She has soft, (Y/H/C) hair and gorgeous (Y/E/C) eyes."
You tried to rule out all the girls in your mind that it couldn't be. At the end of this process, there were still quite a few girls left.
"She makes me laugh and smile, but sometimes cry."
You made a note that his clue-giving was terrible and decided to tell him later.
Jake continued, "She's stood right in front of me..." At this you looked up from the ground and stared at him, shocked.
"What, me?"
"No, that tree over there." He laughed and pointed at an oak about ten feet behind you. "Yeah, you!"
You pressed a kiss against his lips and smiled when you pulled away. "I like you too, Jake Ryan."
