I woke up to find myself on th edge of my bed. I rolled to the other end and stretched my arm out for my phone. I grabbed it and checked the time. 7:24. Great. Another early morning after a late night. Toni and I had skyped last night and I ended up sleeping at 2 am. Oh well, what are you gonna do right?
I pushed the covers off me and stood up, still holding my phone. Stretching my arms and yawning, I walked over and opened my door. I trudged downstairs and walked to the kitchen. I pulled some cereal out from the cabinet and milk from the refrigerator. I poured it in a bowl and put it back. I left the bowl to settle as I sat on the couch in the living room.
Once again, I went on twitter and scrolled through my home page. Nothing much to see on there, really. Just a funny tweet there, a quote here, and some other random and pointless stuff everywhere. I don't even know why I still use twitter. It's not even that useful. Ehh, I guess it's just addicting.
I stood up to get my cereal. When I lifted my spoon to my mouth, the cereal was all soggy. Just the way I like it. When I finished, I left it in the sink, too lazy to wash. I decided to go take a shower. Nothing else to do this early in the morning.
---------------------------------------
I walked out of the bathroom into my room, wearing denim shorts and a t-shirt. I went to dry my hair. I took my hair dryer and, well, I dried my hair. While the hot air blew threw my hair, I wondered what I could do. What can a girl like me do on a Sunday in San Antonio? I turned off the hair dryer and looked in the mirror. I brushed my comb through the red streaks in my hair. I sighed as I walked out of my room and down the stairs.
I checked the time. 8:52. Mom was probably still asleep. She doesn't usually wake up until around 10. I decided to go on a walk again.
I didn't feel like walking around my block, the same way that led to Kathy's house when I met her two days ago. Kathy and I were texting each other yesterday. We had an interesting conversation and I found out she was an Enchancer, a fan of Greyson Chance. I don't listen to him much but I've heard a song or two, he sounds good. She aslo said that when we bumped into each other when we met, she was actually listening to Greyson Chance.
I thought about our conversation as I walked across the street. I decided to walk around here and then maybe head back home. I made most of the way around the block, when I received a text from Kathy.
Kathy- Hey Nicole! Just wondering if you wanna come over again later
I was typing in my reply when I bumped into someone. I took a step back as I looked up from my phone, pushing my hair away from my face.
"Oh God, sorry," I said.
"Oh sorry. It's ok," I heard a vaguely familiar voice say.
I looked at him, and it took a few moments to calcute everything. The brown hair, the hazel eyes, the familiar voice, that smile and his braces.
"Oh. Ummm... I.. Uhhh.." I stuttered stupidly.
He smiled, and I opened my mouth to say, "Umm.. Sorry.. It's just.. I.. You-uhh.. A-are you Austin Mahone?"
He laughed and said, "Ya. You know me?"
"Uhh. Ya. It's just that my friend is a Mahomie and she always talks about you and shows me pictures of you and stuff," I said, thinking about Toni. I didn't want to say, "Oh yeah. I'm a fan and blah blah blah." I mean, it would've just made the situation even more awkward.
"Oh is she?" he said, grinning.
God. He was even cuter in person. I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm a fan. I'm not necessarily what you might consider a "Mahomie" though. The real Mahomie is Toni. Really, the only reason I'm a fan is because of her. She adores him. I just like him. I like his music and he does really good covers. And fine, I'll admit he is kind of cute, but I never really realized how cute he was until I actually saw him.
