"Thanks for watching. Love you, guys," he said as he made a heart with his hands. He put his hands down and ended the Ustream.
"Oh my gosh," Toni, my best friend said, looking at me.
"I can't believe that's the last time we're gonna watch his Ustream together."
"I know right," I said, looking back at her. I groaned. "I don't want to move."
"Just think," she said, "maybe you'll see Austin!"
"Even if, I just don't want to leave."
"Come on, you're moving to San Antonio, you have a great chance of randomly seeing him!"
"Ya, maybe," I said, crumpling up the wrapper of Skittles we had finished while watching Austin's Ustream. But seriously, possibly meeting Austin was one of the last things on my mind. "It's just gonna be so hard to have to move and make friends and everything! I'm perfectly happy here in Nashville."
Toni looked at me after shutting off her laptop. "Don't worry. You'll meet a bunch of people there, and you won't have anything to worry about. Just promise me you won't forget about me!"
I laughed and said, "Me? Forget about you? You kidding?" We both laughed as I opened the other pack of Skittles I brought on my way to her house.
Toni and I talked for the remaining time. We just talked about all the memories we made together over the years. Everything from how we met, to weird things we did together, when we randomly found Austin on Youtube. I was going to miss talking to her. We did plan to skype each other every week, but it wouldn't be the same as talking to her in person.
My phone lit up, telling me I had a message. I opened the message, knowing it was probably my mom telling me to come home.
Mom- It's time to come home. You have to rest and get ready for tomorrow. Tell Toni I say hi and I'll miss her!
I groaned after reading the text. I didn't want to leave Toni's room. I didn't want to go home. I didn't want to leave Nashville and move to San Antonio.
"Toni, my mom said I have to leave already," I said, my voice getting stuck in my throat.
"No.. Don't leave," she said. "I'm gonna miss you so much! I wish I could come with you to the airport but your flight's too early."
"I'll miss you too. And I'm telling you, I would do anything just to be able to stay here."
We both started tearing and she said, "I love you! Don't forget that. Have a good time in San Antonio, and I'll see you again soon."
"I love you too. I swear, I'm going to miss you so much."
It went on like that for around 5 minutes until she finally walked me to the door, and we said our last goodbyes.
Toni stood by the doorway as I walked away. When I turned to look at her, we ran to each other and hugged each other again. "I'll miss you."
"I'll miss you too," I replied as we let go, and I started walking.
When I got home it was around 8:00. I walked through the door and went up to my room. I closed the door to my room and pulled my suitcase beside my bed, where the rest of my clothes were placed. I unzipped the the suitcase and placed my clothes inside.
My mom came in when I was putting the last of my clothes in the suitcase.
"Hey," she said, "Time for dinner."
"Ok, mom. Be there in a bit." She closed the door as I zipped up the suitcase. I stood up and got the other suitcase with all my other stuff inside. I opened it and walked over to the poster-covered wall. I looked over it one last time before removing each poster. I folded them all up when each one was removed. I put them in my suitcase and closed it before heading downstairs.
When I came down, my mom directed me to a box of pizza. I grabbed a slice and ate as she took one.
"What happened at Toni's?" she asked me.
"Oh, you know," I said, "we watched, and talked, and cried."
She nodded and asked "You're going to miss her aren't you?"
"Of course I am, mom," I replied, trying to hide the sarcasm in my voice. "Mom, what if I don't make friends in San Antonio? It's gonna be so, AGH."
"Don't worry, honey. I'm sure you'll make lots of friends." I groaned, and we didn't talk about it anymore.
We, ok fine, I finished the rest of the pizza so I went to throw the box away. I was climbing up the stairs when my mom said, "Go rest, alright? We'll be up early tomorrow!"
"Ok, mom!" I got to my room and went on Twitter using my phone. Austin just tweeted, so I retweeted him. I checked my interactions to see two new followers. I checked their profiles and followed them back. When I was done I stood up and tossed my phone on the bed as I walked to the bathroom to get ready for bed.
I came out as I was tying my hair into a ponytail. I sat on my bed and grabbed my phone. I texted Toni, goodnight. It was 9:42. She's probably asleep, she sleeps really early. I went on Twitter again and typed in, Moving to San Antonio tomorrow.. Wonder if I'll see @AustinMahone. I pressed send and turned my phone off. I put it on the night stand beside me and took my iPod. I put in my earplugs and selected "Tied Together With a Smile" by Taylor Swift. I fell asleep as soon as I heard her voice.
