Briar POV
At the hospital, I find my father is in surgery. BRAIN SURGERY! Oh god this is not good. In fact, this feels like deja vu. This is just like when my mum and sister died. What if the same thing happens to dad. I need to stop thinking of the worse, its not healthy.
I am in the waiting room, when I see Franci, Ryan and Kingsley walk in looking extremely upset.
"Franci?" I call out, my voice wavering.
"Briar." She says coming to sit beside me. "I'm surprised you're here already. I hadn't even called you about what happened to Myles yet. Did the police call you and let you know?"
"I'm sorry, what are you talking about?" I ask shocked and confused. "What happened to Myles?"
"He was in a car accident with two other cars ... he's in bad shape. " She says. "If you didn't know about Myles, then why are you here?"
"My father was in that accident too." I tell her. "He's in surgery now, the doctors s-say that I should prepare for the worst."
I break down in tears and so does Franci, Kingsley and Ryan.
