Briar POV
"Logan, Devon!" Franci greets them at the door. "Its so good to see you again. Come in."
Myles and I come and stand beside Franci then. I can sense the tension in the air. Awkward. I still think it was stupid of Logan to bring her boyfriend to her ex-boyfriends house.
"Myles, you look so different." Logan says, awkwardly.
"Thanks, I think." Myles replies.
Logan smiles kindly at him and then to me. "And who's this?"
"Oh this is Briar." Franci introduces me. "Her and her dad, Alan, live here giving their current circumstances."
"She's also my girlfriend." Myles adds giving me a charming smile.
Franci gives Myles and I are confused look, but she went along with it anyway. Thank goodness.
"Oh, its so nice to meet you." She says. "I'm Logan and this is my boyfriend Devon."
"Nice to meet you both." I smile.
Logan and Devon go and get settled into the spare bedroom. I'm glad that my dad isn't here at the moment, it would be even more awkward with him here too.
I just hope that Logan, Devon, Myles and I actually get along for the next two weeks while they stay here ... although I doubt that'll be the case.
