Myles POV
Briar is staying the night in hospital, just as a precaution seeing as she had a head injury. I walked home since I don't live to far away from the hospital. Now that I'm home I know exactly what I'm going to do.
I walk straight upstairs towards the spare room. I knock but no one answers so I decide to just go in anyway. Neither Logan nor Devon are in there. In fact, all of Devon's stuff is gone. That's weird.
"Myles," Logan comes up from behind me. "What are you doing in here?"
"Looking for you." I say, coldly. "Where's Devon's stuff?"
"We broke up." She says with a shrug.
"Okay ... I don't really care to be honest." I say awkwardly. "Anyways, I know it was you."
"I don't know what you're talking about ... " Logan plays dumb.
"Save it, Logan." I cut her off. "I know you pushed Briar down the stairs on purpose, because you're jealous of her or something."
"Why would I be jealous of her?" Logan rolls her eyes. "She's a fat, ugly bitch with next to no friends. I mean why do you even like her? She's nothing like any of your other girlfriends, I was way better for you than she is."
I lose it the moment she starts calling Briar all those awful things. I push her up against the wall holding her there strongly. I watch her face as she turns scared and worried.
"I like her because she's nothing like you." I say with a low, stern voice. "Now stay the hell away from Briar and I. Got it."
"Okay." She mutters.
"Good." I say.
I let her go and leave the room. I can't believe I ever dated her.
