I'm finally going back to school today. I'm kind of nervous but mostly just relieved; being stuck in a house for three weeks has made me crazy. Besides, I haven't had any contact with my friends since the accident, it'll be good to see them again.
I wake up and have a shower. Then I go through my old morning routine: Do my hair, makeup, outfit.

Myles walks into my room and plants himself on my bed. He lets out a big sigh. I don't think he wants to go back to school, in fact I think he's nervous.
"So are you nervous?" He asks me.
"A little." I admit. "Nowhere near as nervous as you are."
"Pff." He says. "Me? Nervous? I don't think so."
"If you say so." I laugh.
I grab my bag and phone and walk out the door and Myles follows me. I sit down at the dining table and grab a banana and eat it. Myles sits opposite me and grabs an apple.
"Ugh." He makes a disgusted look at me. "How can you eat that?"
Myles has a thing about bananas. He absolutely HATES them. I don't know why; I like them. I wave it in his face and say, "You want some?"
"Never." He says, pushing it away.
After we've finished eating we get into Myles car and he drives us to school.
"Do you think things will be different at school?" He asks me on the way there.
"I have a feeling things have changed a lot since the accident." I tell him. "I just don't know if its for the better or for the worse."
The moment Myles and I step out of the door and into the school everyone turns to look at us. I don't see any of my friends. I thought they would be here. I grab Myles hands and he gives me a reassuring look. We walk through the crowd and head to our first class. Thankfully we're both in this class and so are all our friends.
I take my seat at the back of the class. Myles sits besides me. We save the other seats for the others. First I see Dylan walk in alone and she sits directly in front of me, then Trev and Britt walk in and smile at Myles and I but they sit at the front of the class, Alex and Lamar walk in and wave at us and sit as far away from everyone as possible, then Isaac and Vic walk in and Vic runs up to me and hugs me tightly and asks me if I'm okay. She sits next to me and Isaac sits besides Myles.
"How are you?" She asks me, sympathetically.
"I'm doing okay." I say, but I have more important things to talk about. "What's going on?"
"You've missed out on a lot." She sighs. "I'll fill you in on everything at break time. That's when we all meet up in secret."
"In secret?" I ask, completely confused.
"It'll make sense soon." She says and turns to face the teacher.
