"Babe your moms do not want me to go."
"Yes they do, I promise."
"It's your family."
"Exactly if you care about me you'll go, unless one of your side bitches needs you more."
"Danny, really?"
"Look if you want to come you're more then welcome because I'd really like it if you went, but if not I understand. Now can you take me home?"
Tanner and Autumn were outside planting trees along the driveway.
They could hear the younger girls arguing in the car.
"You didn't deny the fact that you're seeing someone else."
"Danny it's complicated."
"So you are? I knew it!"
Autumn held her wife back from ripping Mac from the car and beating her ass.
"Danny, baby, she's not over me."
"Okay and? I'm not over the fact that my dad beat us but I've gotten on with my life and finally am happy. And guess what Mac you just ruined it, thanks a lot."
Danny slammed the car door running inside the house. Tanner threw the shovel before storming over to the drivers door that was opening.
"Get back in your car and get the fuck off my property. It'd be best if you left my little girl alone."
The tattooed girl could hear Danny crying as she climbed the stairs.
She wrapped her arms around the girl rocking her back and forth.
"She lied to me!"
"You know I lied to your mom, once. It was the worst decision I've made."
"You cheated on mom?"
"Hell no. When I proposed I told her I was out of the gang but truth is I'll never get out."
"Why did you lie?"
"Because she left me and moved here to go to school because my life was in her way. So grandpa and I came out here and I knew the only way to get back the love of my life was to lie. I couldn't let her walk out like that."
"I thought she liked me."
"She probably does, sweetheart, and what she is doing is shit. She's lucky I didn't beat her ass."
"You were right, Momma."
"What?"
"She just wanted to sleep with me. I was just a toy to her."
The door slowly opened Autumn walked in with Mac behind her.
"She's gone. I'm done with her, Danny."
"You should have been done with her before you asked my daughter to be your girlfriend."
"You're right and I'm sorry that I've lied to you and caused you pain. Danny you make me happy, whether you believe me or not. I just, I'm so confused. I don't understand my feeling because they are so strong for you and I just I'm scared."
"Momma can I talk to Mac alone?"
"Are you sure?"
"Tanner come on."
Tanner kissed her daughters forehead before glaring at Mac.
"I never thought I'd be in this situation."
"What's that?"
"So mad at the fact that my daughters girlfriend is an asshole that I could punch a hole through the wall."
"Mac told me she loved her."
Tanner hops off the table about to go up the stairs.
"Stop, babe, this is their relationship."
"She is going to tell Danny that and guess what Danny will forgive her immediately. Then Mac with continue to cheat on her."
"How do you know that?"
"Because I did the same thing to my high school girlfriend."
"You cheated on her?"
"I did."
"Have you cheated on me?"
"No because I really love you. You're my world."
"We need to let this play out."
"I'll go pick up Jasmine."
"Be careful."
Tanner put the little girl's bag into the backseat before opening the passenger door for her.
"What's wrong, princess?"
"I feel hurt, I think?"
"When we get home we can lay in your mom and I's bed and watch a movie."
The younger girl rested her head on Tanner's arm as she drove them home.
The tattooed girl carried her upstairs and into her room where Autumn held a pair of pajamas.
"What happened?"
"I don't want to talk about it."
"I'll start dinner, Tanner."
As the younger girl started to cry, Tanner held her tighter rocking her.
"What happened, baby girl?"
