Her delicate fingers slid up and down the tattooed arm as she slept. The doctor gave her a sleeping pill for the plane ride home to keep her relaxed.

"Tanner wake up."

Autumn gently tapped her cheek trying to wake her up.

"5 more minutes, love."

"We need to get off the plane and into the car."

"I'm sleeping when I get home."

"That's fine, babe, come on."

Tanner gripped her wife's forearm as they made their way through the airport. Her movement would slow as she would overthink her next step.

"How are you feeling, love?"

"I'm sore."

"I'll rub your legs and set up the heating pads when we get home."

Mac let Tanner push off her shoulder as she got into the car.

Everyone piled in before Autumn slowly pulled away.

"I'm sorry for ruining the holidays."

"You didn't ruin anything, Momma! You make it all better."

Jasmine was the first to speak up from her spot beside Mac.

"I agree being with your family was amazing no matter what happened. I really appreciate you allowing me to tag along."

"How was keeping our little girls and Mac safe ruining anything? You saved it."

Autumn leaned across the console to kiss Tanner at the red light.

"I love you so damn much."

Tanner kissed her again as the kids 'Ew'ed in the backseat.

"I love you. You make me the happiest I've ever been."

"That's what I'm trying to do."

Tanner crawled into their bed with her body so sore it hurt to move.

Her eyes were closed when Autumn sat beside her legs and started rubbing large circles.

"Is this hurting you?"

"No, feels good."

The tattooed girl's breathing evened out as the delicate hands continued to rub her legs.

"Mom?"

"What's wrong, Jas?"

"Can I lay with Momma?"

"I'm sure she'd love that."

The youngest Sin crawled into the large bed as a half asleep Tanner pulled her into her chest.

"I needed a snuggle buddy."

Jasmine giggled as Tanner kissed her forehead.

"I thought you were asleep, Momma."

"I've been sleeping too much."

Autumn moved her hands up to Tanner's thighs.

"Does this still feel alright?"

"It's feels wonderful, love."

"I have to work soon."

Tanner slowly stood up from the bed with a grunt.

"Where are you going?"

Autumn watch as the tattooed girl removed her shirt, leaving her in a sports bra.

"Up and down the stairs, I need to work on my legs."

The tattooed girl was sweating as she went up the stairs for the 15th time.

"I'm going now, babe."

"Alright. I love you and be careful driving."

"I will. I love you, too."

What Tanner didn't know was that Autumn had already told Danny and Mac to keep an eye on her wife.

She watched Danny and Mac on the couch as she went up and down the stairs.

Danny straddled Mac's lap as they laughed about something, their lips met in a passionate kiss as Tanner looked away.

"I miss you."

"I'm right here, baby. I haven't left your side in two weeks, hell I haven't left you alone since I met you."

They were so close their lips almost touched as they spoke.

"I mean.... I miss our night in that motel room."

"Well what if tomorrow night after we get out of school we go back to mine? My mom is out of town and we'll have the whole house to ourselves."

"I love you."

Mac leaned in to kiss Danny's lips as the shorter girl wrapped her arms around her neck.

"I love you, too."

Tanner stopped at the top of the stairs, not being able to move from the pain.

"Autumn!"

Danny was off the couch and up the stairs before Mac could move.

"What's wrong, Momma?"

"Over did it."

Mac took the stairs two at a time, allowing Tanner to lean her weight on her shoulder.

"I need to sit or my legs are going to give out."

Jasmine rolled Autumn's office chair to the back of Tanner's legs as they helped her down.

"Where's Autumn?"

"Momma she's at work remember she left about an hour ago."

"She's gone?"

"She's at work at the hospital, remember? She's a nurse."

The thing was, Tanner didn't remember her leaving or what she left to do.
