Autumn's hand ran up her wife's nude back as the sun rose.
"I love you."
"I love you more then anything."
Tanner's lips pressed against her wife's temple as she held her close.
"I know you do, love."
"What really happened the other night? Everyone is acting weird around me and Danny won't talk to me."
"It doesn't matter, it's over with."
Autumn kissed her wife's neck trying to distract her.
"I hit Mal, didn't I?"
The heavy silence answered the question before Autumn had to say it.
"Yeah you did."
The tattooed carpenter sat up in bed running her fingers through her hair.
"I hit a kid."
"Babe, it's over it's okay."
"What if it's you next time? I won't be able to live with myself."
"Tanner it's in the past, okay? Let's go make breakfast for the family before we head off to work."
It was later then normal when Tanner got home.
"How was your day?"
The tattooed carpenter softly smiled before ignoring her wife's question.
"Can you take me to our room?"
Everyone understood what that meant, she had forgotten.
"Yeah, sweetheart."
She took the tattooed hand in her own before slowly going up the stairs.
"I love you."
"I love you, Tanner."
The carpenter sat on the foot of the bed as her wife unbutton her dirty shirt, pulling it from her body.
"Why do you stay?"
"Why would I leave you, my love?"
"All I do is fuck up. I forget how to get home, I forget where the room is, and I hit a kid for no reason."
Autumn knelt in front of her wife starting to untie her work boots.
"I love you for you. It's trauma, babe, no matter what life puts you through I wouldn't leave because I know you wouldn't either. Because you and me, we, are inseparable and that's the way it should be."
Autumn pulled the jeans from the girl's body before looking back to lock eyes.
"That's true love and we have the purest form."
"Like that was really sappy and sweet but I can't think straight with your head between my knees like that."
"Seriously Tanner, I just poured my heart out to you!"
Autumn couldn't help but laugh as Tanner lifted her on to her lap.
"I can't help it that you turn me on."
Autumn ran her fingers through the short hair as their lips met.
"Wait I have a question!"
Autumn pushed Tanner back into the bed with a smile before straddling her waist.
"It better be good."
"Can I top?"
