"Let's go, let's go!"
Tanner stood at the bottom of the stairs waiting for the Sin family, plus Mac, to get in the truck. They were going to a national park about an hour away and to say Tanner was excited was an understatement.
"Where's our kids?"
"Jas is grabbing her camera you bought her. As for Danny and Mac I think they're reconnecting."
"Well they have about sixty seconds to disconnect before I leave without them."
"Mom, Danny wants to talk to you."
"I'll be right back, love."
Autumn marched up the stairs with a smile on her face, which quickly faded.
"Do we have to go?"
"Yeah and you two will enjoy it."
"It's hot though, Mom."
"It won't kill you to go outside. Your Momma is excited to have the entire family together. I think we all owe her this, so put on your shoes and grab a hat."
"Mom, please?"
"I'm not asking, I'm telling you. Be downstairs in two minutes or you won't like the consequences."
"Yes ma'am."
Tanner's smile immediately warmed her wife's heart as she took a photo of their youngest daughter.
"Is everyone ready?"
"Yeah."
Tanner backed out of the driveway slipping on her sunglasses. She took Autumn's hand placing a kiss on her knuckles before sitting their locked hands in her lap.
"You have any idea how excited I am to spend time with my beautiful family?"
Tanner looked over at Autumn who smiled back at her.
"I'm excited, Tanner, my family never does anything like this."
"Good I'm glad I'm not the only one."
Jasmine silently took pictures of her loving parents in the front seat as they continued to talk.
"You know we are getting older."
"Don't remind me."
The tattooed gently laughed with her comment before quickly looking at Autumn's serious expression.
"What about having a baby?"
"Through donation or adoption."
Autumn's voice dropped to almost a whisper hoping Tanner wouldn't react badly.
"Donation. I want to carry a baby."
"If you're sure then I think it's a great idea. We can start looking into the process."
"Really?"
"Yeah, why not let our family grow."
"I love you."
"I love you, too."
Tanner placed a kiss on her wife's lips as they waited for the light to turn green.
"Momma I'm tired."
They were almost to the truck when Tanner pulled the girl onto her back.
"Hang on, princess."
Tanner carried her youngest on her back the rest of the way to the truck, ignoring Danny's groans.
"I'm so tired but I had fun."
Jasmine kissed Tanner's cheek before smiling over at Autumn.
"I'm glad. I think a movie and a nap with my girls sounds amazing."
"Can I pick the movie?"
"Of course you can, princess."
Autumn took a hold of the tattooed hand, pressing a kiss to her wife's lips.
