"So Momma really doesn't remember last night?"
Autumn watched as Malcom ran his hand up Danny's leg as the girl sat in his lap.
"I don't think so."
"She hit Malcom, mom."
"I'm fine, babe. It's understandable, it's better me then anyone else."
The front door busted open to a smiling Tanner.
"Baby I'm home."
"How was your day, love?"
Tanner kissed her wife with passion as the kids on the couch looked away.
"It was decent, how was yours?"
"A lot of sleeping."
"Well you look beautiful."
"You say that all the time."
"Because it's the truth, darling. How was school?"
Tanner put her hat on backwards as she studied her wife.
"Well Mal was late to half of his classes."
"How?"
Tanner laughed as Danny glared at Malcom.
"Your daughter wanted to make out in the conference room."
"Hey you were a willing participant."
"Very true."
Tanner watched as Malcom pressed his lips against Danny's cheek.
"Hey Tanner, Jas is upstairs and wanted your help with something."
The tattooed carpenter climbed the stairs slowly, knocking before pushing open the girl's door.
"Mom said you needed some help."
Jasmine pulled Tanner into her room before closing the door.
"I want to cut my hair."
"Okay. What are you thinking?"
The younger girl pulled the hat from Tanner's head running her fingers through her hair.
"Like yours."
"What makes you want to do this?"
"I don't know I just want to do something different."
"You know what people associate short hair with?"
"I know, Momma."
"We really need to talk to mom about it."
"She'll say no."
"Let me talk to her."
Tanner pulled off her shirt before crawling into bed with her wife.
"Jas wants to cut her hair."
"It's time for a trim."
Autumn pulled her hair out of the messy bun before crawling up to her wife.
"No baby, like short hair."
"Oh how short?"
"Like mine."
Autumn straddled Tanner's hips looking down at her.
"I think we let her do what she wants with her own hair."
"Really?"
"Why not?"
"I really thought you were going to say no."
Autumn leaned down to kiss her wife with a smile.
"Sometimes you just have to let loose, you know."
Tanner kissed her again pulling her closer.
"I think that is a great idea."
"Of course you would. Did you lock the door?"
"Of course I did."
Tanner smiled as Autumn pressed their lips together.
