Kai's face turned from happy to angry. What do you want? Daddy? Are you okay? Kandice got up walking towards him, having forgotten what he had said. He had blocked her from walking any further.
Leave now! Kai told the woman. Katherine. She's cute & all. Kandice stood behind her father, holding on to his arm. Katherine was now the queen of hell. She could make things happen. Bad things at that.
Incendia. Flames appeared around Kandice. No! Kandice wasn't afraid though. Daddy? Kai had managed to get a little bit of power from her, siphoning the spell to protect his daughter.
Come here, sweetheart. He sighed with relief. You okay Kandice? She nodded. Yes. He fixed her hair as she was sweating. Okay, princess. Go upstairs and watch your cartoons in daddy's room, okay. She nodded. Alright, beautiful go.
Don't mind me, Katherine said. Kai hissed. Bad things will happen with that thing around.
