"Get up!" My sister, Dani, yelled at me.
"Do I have to?" I whined, though it was muffled do to my face being buried in the pillow.
"Yes!" She yelled, struggling to drag me out of my bed. Thank god for her weak arm muscles, and my vice grip on the head board.
There was a knock on the door, distracting Dani, so I took that as my chance to crawl back in bed, and sleep.
"Morning, D. Want a burrito?" Our friend, Colin, stated upon walking into the dorm. I could smell the breakfast burritos invading my nostrils. My stomach grumbled. I probably should've eaten dinner last night.
"Thank you. Jay, get out of bed, now!"
"I'm not a morning person! If you love me, then you'll accept that!" I argued, throwing the blanket over my head.
"I got this." I heard Colin whisper. I laughed inwardly. He thought he'd get me out of bed, how adorable.
Soon, I felt the bed sink down, and a soothing hand rubbing on my back, which did nothing but make me all the more tired.
"That hand of yours is not helping your case at all.. just so you know." I said, turning my head from him.
"I know," he laughed, "come on."
Suddenly, I was hoisted up into the air. "Colin!" I squeaked, finding it hard not to laugh.
"What?" He mocked.
"Put me down!" I stated as dimly as possible
"I will, as soon as you give me a sign that you're woke"
"Put me down, or else."
"Or else what?" He challenged.
"Do you really wanna know the 'or else?'" I asked, now feeling amused.
"No. Not necessarily." He said, feigning fear.
"Then put. me. down." I said while punching his back.
"Fine," he shrugged, "have it your way."
He body slammed me down on the bed, and slapped my butt, "That should wake you up." He confirmed before walking off.
I laughed. I can't deny the fact that I did feel a little bit more awake, just a little.
"Half an hour, Jay." Dani reminded me. I rolled my eyes and groaned in response.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah." I muttered.
I don't know why people think college is so fun.
