*Next Morning*
'Mmm'
Lexi groaned as she rolled over on top of me.
Me: Get off of me (I said drowsily)
Lexi: Mmm.... sorry
She still didn't roll off of me though.
Me: Lex?
Lexi: What? Shut up and go back to sleep
She turned away from me.
Me: Lex?
I looked at my watch and it was nine thirty.
Me: Lexi, get up!
We had thirty minutes to be at work, and there's no way that we're going to make it.
Lexi: Oh my god, what? (She dramatically)
Me: We're gonna be late for work! Get up!
She fell back to sleep. I jumped up off the couch and ran to bathroom to wash as quick as I could. I was done in ten minutes, twenty minutes to spare. Lexi and I wore the same size clothes, so I borrowed a pair of her black skinny jeans and a red shirt.
Me: Lexi, can you get up now? We don't have time for this!
She just moved a little.
Me: Please don't make me drag you, because I promise that I will
When she didn't move so I knew what I had to do. I grabbed a set of clothes for her and put on my shoes.
Me: One more chance, Lex
She didn't move, so I grabbed her by the arms and pulled her off the couch.
Lexi: Ow! What the hell?!
Me: Get the hell up! We have fifteen minutes! Fifteen of which it takes to drive there!
Lexi: Okay, okay, I'm up
She slowly stood up off the floor, and I handed her her clothes.
Lexi: What?
Me: Do you wanna go to work in your sweats?
She just rolled her eyes.
Me: I didn't think so, now let's go
I grabbed the car keys while she slipped on her shoes, and then we walked out to the car.
Lexi: What about breakfast?
I started the car up.
Me: We'll get it at work
Lexi: Can I go back to sleep? (She yawned)
Me: Not if you're gonna wake up
Lexi: Then in that case, I probably shouldn't
I laughed a little.
Me: Yeah
I pulled out of the driveway and sped off to work.
*****************
We got there with like one minute to spare. However, knowing Guy, he'll be upset if you're two minutes early. We both walked inside the restaurant, trying our very hardest to avoid Guy, but that wasn't easy because he's on top of EVERYTHING that goes on around here. There isn't a thing that you can or can't do with him knowing about it.
We walked into the kitchen, grabbing our aprons along the way, and we started to act like we were working. Everything was already prepared, cooked, and we even had a few customers here, so it wasn't really hard to blend in.
