After Lloyd defeated the Overlord, everything went back to normal. Ninjago City transformed into New Ninjago City and became the center of new technology. But with no threat to fight, the age of the ninja slowly died out.
Cole, Kai, Jay and, Zane became teachers for some reason. Lloyd flew around New Ninjago City looking for new threats.
You... Well, you wanted to keep on the down-low with your powers, so you became a substitute teacher, but only when the guys needed some extra help at school.
While the others and Nya had trouble with the students, you never really seemed to have trouble with the students. Though you had some trouble with some boys from time to time.
You walked into the teacher's lounge where everyone else was.
'' Hey guys. '' you greeted them all.
'' Hey y/n. '' they all said sounding very tired.
'' Are the kids that bad? '' you said and sat down beside Cole.
'' You have no Idea. '' Cole said and you laughed.
'' I don't know how you do it y/n. '' Kai said.
'' Maybe it's because I make the lessons more fun, '' you said. Right after you said that Nya came running into the room and slammed the door.
'' Boys again? '' you asked.
'' Yeah. I swear the boys never seem to listen to me. '' Nya said.
'' Hi Miss Nya, I saved you some pudding. '' Jay said. Nya looked at him with a raised eyebrow.
'' Right. Space. '' Jay said and backed away.
'' But hey, did you guys hear the news? '' Nya said.
'' There's trouble? '' Kai asked.
'' Danger? '' Jay asked.
'' An emergency? '' Zane asked.
'' Or a new menace? '' Cole asked.
'' No, we got clearance for a field trip. '' Nya said.
'' Oh you mean the one to Borg industries? '' You asked.
'' Yep! '' Nya said. Then Jay started nerding about it until Zane kicked him.
'' Who cares about Cyrus Borg. If you ask me, people should concern themselves with the lessons of the past- '' Kai said, but you cut him off.
'' They already left Kai, '' you said. Kai sighed, but you patted him on the shoulder.
'' Are you coming with us on the field trip y/n? '' Kai asked you.
'' Sensei Wu asked me to assist on the field trip, so yeah I'm going It could be interesting, '' you said.
'' Now come on, we don't want to make the others wait, '' you said.
