'' Quit complaining and just do it. '' Kai said and gave him his weapon, and so did everybody else.
'' I don't think I need to say this, but we're gonna need this back. '' Jay said as he gave his weapon to Garmadon. Kai told Garmadon about its weak spot on its forehead, and they finally got to work.
'' I'll do my part, you just make sure he'll stay in one spot. '' Garmadon said.
'' Stays in one spot! How are we suppose to do that! '' Jay said. Soon they figured out a plan.
'' Come and get me! '' Kai said trying to get the devourer to follow him. Kai ran a little until he jumped onto a bus.
'' I'll take it from here. '' Cole said. Cole jumped onto cars and then ran into a tiny alleyway. Then the devourer raised itself up and saw Jay was right beside him. Jay began to run away, and the snake blindly followed him. Soon Jay met up with Zane.
'' What took you so long. '' Zane said.
'' Save the humor for later Zane. '' Jay said back, and they both began running.
'' Instead of a fire escape, how about an ice escape. '' Zane said and created a rollercoaster-like escape. Just as the track ended, the devourer was close to swallowing them whole but luckily their dragon came to the rescue. And the snake had its own tail in its mouth.
'' Do you think it's gonna work. '' Jay asked.
'' There's only one way to find out. '' Kai said.
'' Now where's Garmadon, it's gonna hold that much longer. '' Cole said.
'' Look! '' Lloyd said and pointed towards a skyscraper where his dad was.
'' Dad! '' Lloyd said and looked at his dad.
'' You're the reason evil runs through my blood. '' Garmadon said and raised the weapons and a big light shined from the top of the building.
'' You bit me once, Now feel what it's like to be bitten back. '' He said and jumped down from the building and landed on the devourer's weak spot. It shrieked in pain, and then it exploded. The green goo spread all over Ninjago City. Everyone cheered knowing that the chaos was over.
'' We did it. '' Jay said.
'' No, he did it. '' Cole said. Everyone ran out of buildings cheering.
* meanwhile down in the tomb *
'' Is that cheering? '' one of the generals asked.
'' The great devourer must have been destroyed. '' another one said.
'' Someone has to leave now. '' Skales said.
