MiHi's POV

The walk up the flight of stairs never seemed to end, but once I reached the top, I halted right before the door. There was a little sliver of light that was seeping through because a small rock propped the door open. I just stared at the small amount of light for a little bit. I was trying to think about what I would say to him. There were a lot of things I wanted to say, but where do I start?

I sighed and started to push the door as quietly as possible, but then a squeak rang out into the air as the hinges rubbed together. I grimaced knowing that that totally ruined the element of surprise that I was aiming to get. I look up slowly to find the boy that has inevitably noticed my presence. He is turned around and looking at me with his eyes wide.

"That thing needs some WD-40." I point over to the hinges and laugh nervously. We awkwardly stare for almost a whole minute before I decide that it's time to break the silence.

"It's nice to see you. It's been a while." I step closer to him, slowly letting the door close back onto the rock.

"Yeah...yeah, it has been a while. It's nice to see you too. How, um, how's your arm?" He gestures towards the cast.

"It's good. Itchy, but good." I chuckle. "Um, so Jin said that you were up here and I want to talk. If that's okay with you?"

"Oh, yeah, sure, about what?" He turned and leaned on the side of the building, looking out over the city. I followed suit and leaned beside him.

"A lot." I sigh and scratch my head. "First off, sorry for not talking to you for a week."

"It's fine, really. You needed time to get better. I totally understand."

"That's no excuse Jungkook. But I really missed you this whole week." I glanced over at him.

"Really?" He turned to me in surprise.

"Of course, I did." I scrunch my eyebrows together.

"Well, I missed you a lot as well." He smiled down at me. I smiled right back, brightly.

"I had a dream last night, you were in it," I mumble, not totally sure about talking about it.

"Oh? Was it a good dream?"

"Uh, it didn't start out as a good dream." I glanced up at him. "But you saved me in the end." He didn't say anything for a couple seconds, and I started to freak out. That was too weird. Why did I even bring that up? "Ha, let's just forget that I even said that okay?"

"No." I was taken back a bit by his one-word answer. "I've had dreams like that before too. Where you save me in the end, I mean." He now finally looks away from the horizon and at me. "But I'm sure you wouldn't believe me if I told you that I had them before I had ever even met you."

"That makes no sense."

"See, I told you you wouldn't believe me."

"Whatever. Let's not focus on that. Why are we both having dreams like that, it's weird?"

"Maybe we're soulmates." He wiggles his eyebrows at me. I start to laugh loudly at his statement.

"Wouldn't that be something."

"Did you really come all the way to my apartment to just tell me that you missed me?" Jungkook jumped up and sat down on the edge of the roof, and I followed suit.

"Uh, well in the beginning, yes, then I had a talk with Jin. So, now I have one more thing that I'm here for."

"And what's that?"

"Jin kinda helped me notice it actually." I chuckle, trying to stall a little bit. "But, uh, so I said that I missed you, well, I realized why I missed you so much." I looked over at him. "It's because I like you and not in the 'wow, you're such a great friend' way. In the 'you're there for me, and I always want that' way."

Jungkook then jumped down off of the ledge, and I swore he was just going to walk away from me after I said that but he turned to me. He stood right in front of me and slowly inched closer and closer until he was between my legs. He slowly lifted his hands up to grip either side of my face and whispered, "I like you too, MiHi." Then he kissed me. I panicked at first because I had never kissed anyone before, but I quickly just melted into his touch.

He pulled away from the kiss a couple moments later and laid his forehead on mine. He smiled brightly, and I smiled right back, so satisfied with my everything. "I see you still have my hoodie." He chuckled and looked down at the hoodie that graced my torso.

"Oh! Yes, I do. Here you can have it back." I went to slip the hoodie off, but he stopped me."No, keep it. It looks way better on you anyway." I blush at his statement and look to the ground. He then grabs me into his arms and holds me close.
