"I'm going to miss you, Lily," I said, giving her a hug. "Please stay in touch!"

"Of course I will, I'll miss you so much," Lily replied.

Lily had become lucky, and was about to be fostered by a couple named Matt and Christie with her sisters, Rosie and Poppy. I was so glad she was having a new start, but so sad that she was leaving. She helped me through a lot, and everyone was so sad to see her go. Especially Carmen. She was devastated. But there was no way we'd be able to make her feel better. It just wasn't going to work. I didn't know how to make people feel better, I've never done it. I just knew that whatever I said would make things worse.

I was sat watching TV in the living room while Johnny and Tee were arguing about Tee getting fostered on her own. Johnny never stopped talking about getting fostered. He'd been living here longer than me, surely he had settled in by now and felt better here. I knew I felt safer here than I did at home, but I guess things are different for everyone. I just ignored their argument, because I hate when people argue, but I did hear Tee say she wasn't Tee anymore. She pulled her hair bobble out and stormed off. Then Carmen walked in and asked Johnny if he wanted to play, but he was rude back. I really wanted to play with Carmen. I just wanted to make her feel better, but I was too scared that I'd ruin it and make her feel worse. I got off the sofa and went to go and play in the garden for a bit. I liked going outside. I liked the fresh air, I liked just getting some time to myself. Especially when there was a lot going on that I didn't want to be involved with.

"I hate you all! Especially you, Tracy Beaker!" Carmen screamed as I walked into the kitchen. Goodness knows what had just happened, but I saw the look on Tracy's face and knew it wasn't good. My thoughts started to confuse me in my head, so I just stood there and watched even more drama unfold.

"I did not mess up your room, Johnny Taylor!" Tee said, throwing two cups of juice over him. Obviously, this turned into a food fight. I honestly couldn't be bothered to deal with it and clean up my mess afterwards, so I followed Gus out the room after he messed up Mike's trainers.

THE NEXT MORNING

TRACY'S POV

When I arrived at work, all I could hear when I was walking up the driveway was shouting and screaming. As if anything could get worse. I got in there as fast as I could, and found everyone shouting at Mike and Gina, who were halfway up the stairs.

"What's going on?" I asked.

"Carmen nicked our stuff!" Toby shouted.

"Carmen what?!" I replied. I was in shock. Why would she do such a thing? Yes, she was upset about Lily, but stealing everyone's stuff was out of order.

"QUIETTTTT!!!!!" Gina screamed. Everyone went silent. Gina slowly began to explain everything.

"All the children have had something stolen from them, including Frank's pocket watch and Gracie's bunny from her dad, and now, Carmen has gone and barricaded herself in her room, and she won't talk to anyone!"

I knew I needed to speak to Carmen, so I ran up the stairs, but turned around to see Gracie sat in the corner of the room, next to Gus' piano. I couldn't be in two places at once, but I needed to get everyone's stuff back from Carmen, so I carried on upstairs.

GRACIE'S POV

When I woke up, my bunny was gone. I know it sounds stupid that I slept with a toy bunny, but he meant the world to me. Dad bought me him for my first Easter, so after he died, my bunny meant more to me than it ever had. I frantically searched my room trying to find it, because I knew for a fact I'd gone to bed with it the night before. I started to worry. It couldn't have gone far. I looked a bit more until I realised I'd looked absolutely everywhere. My room wasn't that big, so it became pretty obvious that my bunny wasn't here. I quickly got dressed and ran downstairs to talk to someone. Tracy hadn't arrived yet, so I went to go and talk to Mike and Gina, who were in the office already. I quickly knocked on the door and waited for an answer, which literally took a second or two.
