ONE MONTH LATER
"Mike cancelled my piano lessons!" Gus cried as he walked into the kitchen with his hands on his head. Tracy tried her best to calm him down, but it wasn't going to work. I sat down at the table and sighed. We had no money anymore, and everything was starting to get worse.
"Look me in the eye, Tracy Beaker, and tell me this is fair." Liam said. I could see the worry on Tracy's face. She went to the office to speak to Mike and Gina, while we all sat down and had a discussion.
"What's going to happen to us?" Tee asked.
"I don't know. Hopefully we'll be alright." Johnny replied, putting his arm around his sister.
A little while later, Tracy came back to the kitchen looking rather upset.
"Guys, I have some bad news." she said.
"What?" Liam asked.
"We haven't got the money. The council is closing us down and sending you all to Burnywood." Tracy explained.
"Burnywood?" Liam shouted.
"They can't do that!" Carmen said.
"But this is our home," Tee complained.
"That's why we need to make these cuts work." Tracy said.
"No, look just don't get sucked in. If they want to shut us down they'll do it. Doesn't matter how much money we save." Sapphire said, walking out of the kitchen.
"Sapph, come back!" Tracy shouted, but she didn't come back.
"I've done a stretch in Burnywood, I'm not going back!" Liam ordered.
"Then help us make it cheaper here and you won't need to, and neither will anyone else!" Tracy said.
"I've heard so much about it. I don't think I'd survive there, to be quite honest." I said sadly.
"Don't worry, Gracie. It'll be okay." Tracy said, standing me up and giving me a hug.
There were a few moments of silence before Liam spoke up.
"Everyone, lets show these council muppets how to run this place on the cheap!" he said. We all giggled and smiled at him, agreeing to do whatever it takes to keep our home.

"What on earth is going on here?" Mike asked, as he left the office to Gus' piano being moved outside.
"We're selling it." Toby said.
"I don't need it anymore!" Gus explained.
"What?" Mike questioned.
Over in my room, Tracy was helping me go through my clothes and see which ones didn't fit. I had loads of things from when I was younger, so we put them in a bag along with Carmen and Tee's unwanted things.
"Are you okay?" Tracy asked me.
"I wish I could lie and say yes, but I'm a rubbish liar." I said.
"Don't worry about it. I know it's hard to think about, but you'll be okay. I'm sure this place isn't going to close down forever." Tracy replied.
"I hope not. This is our home. How would they like it if someone came along and chucked them out of their home?" I said.
"Exactly." Tracy said. "I'm not going to let anyone hurt you. You're safe."
I gave Tracy a hug then carried on trying to find clothes to get rid of.
A couple of hours later, we'd got everything sorted, so that we had a girls and a boys bedroom, plus other things that would save money. We managed to match the Burnywood prices, so we could stay open, but, of course there would be a problem.
