My heart began to beat really fast.

I started to feel hot and fuzzy.

Everything felt weird.

I stood up to find an adult,

but no. That didn't work.

Everything went dark.

*****

Before that happened, I was in the living room. We were all doing our own thing, but still having a conversation altogether. I wasn't paying much attention though, I was watching a programme on the telly with Tee, and everything was fine. I don't remember much, but I do remember something being mentioned on the telly about drugs and alcohol. It wasn't even an adult programme! I instantly thought of mum, and everything that happened when she first changed. All I felt was hurt. But I carried on watching it because Tee looked as if she was interested in it. But, everything got worse.

"Give that back it's mine!" Johnny shouted.

"Why can't Harry play with it though?" Sapphire screamed back.

"Ohhhh fight fight fight!!" Liam and Frank started.

"Johnny stop! Let him play with it!" Tee begged, jumping off the sofa and going over to her brother to calm him down. Before I knew it, everyone was arguing. I hate arguments.

I began to lose my breath at that point. What I'd seen on the telly was bad enough, but the arguments made everything worse. I slowly stood up, clutching my chest, trying to control my breathing, but it wouldn't work. I tried to walk to the office, but my legs were like jelly and I was walking side to side. I could briefly hear a few shouts for me, such as Carmen saying, "Gracie, what's wrong?" and Toby saying, "What's going on? Gracie are you okay?" But before I knew it, the universe shut off right before my eyes.

TRACY'S POV

I was doing some file sorting for Mike when I heard screaming coming from the living room. He was in the kitchen cooking dinner. I met Mike at the door of the living room to see the kids arguing about something.

"Guys! Be quiet!" Mike shouted over the top of them. They all fell silent, except Gracie. She'd gone as pale as a sheet of paper and was walking from side to side.

"Gracie, what's going on?" Mike tried to ask her. The moment of sheer panic hit me at that moment. As much as she tried, Gracie could hardly speak.

"I-I can't-d-do-this," she said, before falling forward, luckily into Mike's arms.

"What's caused this?" Mike asked angrily.

Everyone shrugged.

"Well there's obviously a reason you lot! Why were you shouting?" I argued.

"We'll get to that later." Mike said. "Gracie is the main priority right now."

"Is she breathing?" Toby asked.

"I think so, yes. I'm going to take her into the quiet room. Tracy, keep an eye on this lot please." Mike ordered. I really didn't want to talk to the kids. All I cared about was Gracie's health. I had no idea what had just happened, but I knew it was serious.

"So, spill it. What happened?" I asked the kids, trying not to show my worrying.

"We just had an argument. I don't know how Gracie fainted," Liam said.

"She hates being around arguments," I thought to myself.

"What's this on the telly?" I asked them. It didn't look like something Gracie would watch, but I was thinking about all the possibilities. It wasn't just a simple faint. She'd had a panic attack and I knew it. I just hoped that Mike would realise that. My thoughts whirled around my head about the fact that Gracie hadn't been diagnosed with any mental issues. I prayed that Mike would understand where I was going with it, and help me get it sorted.
