TRACY'S POV
After going to the graves earlier, I was feeling a little down. I was devastated for Gracie, and it broke my heart knowing how she was feeling. I was sat in the office with Mike and Gina, when I heard the kids shouting. Mike ran to the living room and asked them what was going on. I followed, and Gina followed me.
"Gracie's gone!" Carmen said, starting to cry.
"What do you mean?" Mike asked in shock.
"She told her she was worthless!" Sapphire explained, pointing at Elektra.
"And she said Gracie's parents hated her when she knows none of Gracie's problems!" Liam carried on.
"Right, I'm going to find her. Gina, talk to Elektra for me, and Tracy, watch the kids." Mike said. I looked up at him with tears in my eyes.
"It's okay, I'll find her. She won't have gone far, I promise." Mike whispered, kissing my forehead. I walked into the living room as Elektra left, and crashed down onto the sofa.
"Why would she say something like that?" I said. All the kids were sat around me worried sick.
"Because she's Elektra." Johnny replied.
"What did she say?" I asked. Gus had written it down word for word in his notebook, so he read it out. Tee grabbed my hand while he read it out.
"Elektra is complaining about how rubbish parents are. She said, 'They would've just been the same as every other parent we have. Stupid, worthless, want their kids out of their lives, move on to become alcoholics and don't even remember them. The list goes on. So stop wasting your time being sympathetic, and Gracie, quit being needy. It's no big deal, and to be honest, your mum probably hated you anyway.' Everyone started arguing, then Gracie ran to the kitchen." Gus explained.
"She's not in the kitchen anymore, we checked." Lily said.
I hugged Tee and Carmen and let the tears fall down my face. I couldn't seem to stop.
"Please don't cry, Tracy." Tee whispered, on the verge of tears herself.
"It's been a long day, but I never thought it would end like this!" I sobbed. I curled up on the sofa and was about to fall asleep when I heard the phone ringing in the office.
"That better be Mike saying he's found her." Toby said.
"I hope so, Gina will tell us what's going on." I replied.
A few moments later, Gina walked in.
"Elektra has been given a sanction. That was Mike on the phone. He's found Gracie." she said.
"Is she alright?" Liam asked. Gina said nothing.
"Gina?" Sapphire continued.
"She's unconscious. She's been hit by a car a few blocks away and Mike is currently with the couple involved and they are waiting for an ambulance." Gina explained.
I lost it at that point. I felt like such a baby, but Gracie was like my sister, and after everything she was going through, this happened and made things so much worse.
"Can I go and see her?" I asked.
"Tracy, we need you here." Gina replied.
I couldn't lose her.
