I heard the door open at around midnight. I didn't get out of bed, but I could hear Gus asking Mike a number of questions. Something about some people, that nobody seemed to know anything about. I didn't really need to know what was going on now, so I tried my best to fall asleep, and wait until the morning to find out what was happening.

THE NEXT MORNING

I got dressed quickly and headed downstairs for breakfast. I went to go to sit in my seat, but a coloured boy was sitting in it, with his friend sitting next to him. These people must've been the ones that arrived last night. I looked at Mike and he gave me a nod, and let me sit on one of the high seats at the bench.

One of the boys picked up an egg, and everyone decided to have a conversation about it.

"That's an egg!" Toby said.

"He knows what an egg is, stupid." Sapphire replied.

"Yeah, but he might be used to the emu ones." Liam suggested.

"Emus are from Australia..." Toby said. That made me laugh.

Just then, Tracy arrived.

"Solved the mystery yet, Gus?" She asked, coming to stand next to me. She gave me a hug and held my hand, just to make me feel comfortable.

"Their names are Ade and Dayo." Gus replied. "They like football."

"Manchester United!" one of them said.

"Rooney!" the other said. They both high fived Frank, which made Tracy smile.

"They sleep in the same bed, Ade has nightmares and the scabies are a lot better now." Gus said. I was shocked that he'd got so much information out of them, but then again, it was Gus.

"What are scabies?" Carmen asked.

"The parasites that burrow under your skin!" Toby said. Carmen grabbed her cereal bowl and scooted her chair away from them.

"Hey, that's enough of that!" Gina said.

"Yeah, I mean, it's not their fault." Sapphire said, sitting next to them and giving them a smile.

TRACY'S POV

"Mike! Is it alright for Carmen to come back for lunch with Lily?" I asked.

"I thought you had a half day because Cam was out" Mike replied. I quickly had to think of some sort of excuse.

"Erm..her meeting got cancelled." I said, thinking I'd blown it by hesitating.

"Okay." Mike said, before carrying on with the dishes.

"So, Gus. Where do Ade and Dayo come from?" I asked.

"That's my next question." He replied.

When everyone left the table, we all went into the living room and gathered around a map, to see where the boys came from. I sat on the edge of the sofa with Gracie so we could see what was going on.

Let's just say, Gus' plan didn't go well. I took this opportunity to speak to Carmen.

"How would you like to come to Lily's for lunch today?" I asked with a smile.

"Really? Today?" Carmen asked. I nodded. "But its a surprise, so you mustn't call her, okay? And it's probably best you don't mention it to anyone else."

"Oh, okay." Carmen said with a smile, before going to get ready.

GRACIE'S POV

"Oh please!! It'll be a triple surprise!" Tee begged. Carmen was going to Lily's for lunch, and she told me and Tee, which made us beg to go too.
