Cisco Ramón is a mechanical engineer who works at S.T.A.R. Labs along with Barry, Caitlin Snow - his best friend -, Iris West, Harrison Wells, and ocasionally Joe West, Iris' father.
Neely is a girl from Starling City. She has recently moved to Cent...
- Ow. Ouch! Ah, come on! - Cisco entered his office with a steaming cup of coffee. In his way, he stumbled with a cable, which in consequence caused a bit of tremble in his desk. Fortunately, nothing got broke. Well... except for the mug he was holding, which crashed on the floor with spectacular noise, distracting Harrison Wells, who worked in the same area. - I knew I had to bring the thermal one.

- You seem a little distracted this morning, Ramón - the latter said, without getting his eyes off the papers he was studying.
- Oh my god, you're a genius. How did you know? - replied the boy with sarcasm as he was grabbing the broken pieces of the mug and discarded them in the trash.
- I think it has to do with our new coworker - the other man added. - What was that all about? The angry faces, the ironic pitch, the "I bet he does"? - Wells finally stopped his work and turned around to face Cisco.
- Maybe she didn't like my face, that's all - nonetheless, that was a story hard to buy. - Okay, look... We met about fifteen years ago in the observatory when we were ten years old or so. Both schools, mine and her's, joined for a science project. We had to make teams of pairs. You would never guess with whom I made team - said Cisco faking a smile, signaling to himself.
- I see - said Harrison Wells adjusting his thick glasses. - What was the project about?

- Nothing serious. Our task was to imagine a new gadget to look at the sky during sunlight without damaging our eyes and try to build it by ourselves. The whole thing lasted for one month. At the end of each week, the two schools would gather at the observatory, so the students could meet with the other member of the team to combine forces, just like The Justice League of America. Anyway, the best device would be exhibited in the Science Fair in the Observatory during the week that followed the end of our school project.
This girl was quite interested in robotics, and she had this amazing idea involving a complex dispositive with circuits that only she could understand. It was mind blowing, that's for sure. The future success of our work seemed obvious. But she had not enough patience to explain it to me, and soon I found myself excluded of the work. My name would still appear on the project, of course, she wasn't that mean, but I wasn't really involved and I felt uncomfortable. So... I talked to the teacher, explained the situation and we agreed to make our works on our own. We were the only ones working by ourselves, without a team. My design was not as sofisticated as her's, but again: you would NEVER guess WHO won the first place - his two thumbs pointing at him frantically - and WHO won the second one...
His coworker listened patiently at every word Cisco had to say without interruptions. Except for the mention of The Justice League of America, which made him roll his eyes.
He finally spoke.
- Ramón, please tell me the truth.
- EARTH CALLING HARRY, BEEP BEEP - Cisco yelled visibly anxious waving his two arms in the air above his head. - Have you listened to me or what?!

- You won't expect me to believe that, would you? - asked Wells in disbelief.
- Man, I have just told you the most childish, full of resentment story of my elementary school years. OF COURSE IT'S TRUE. WE WERE TEN.
- And you two are twenty-five right now. Why would she still hold grudges for such thing?
- Well... she has a new office next to the kitchen now. Go ask her - said Cisco, finishing the cleaning of his workspace.
