Two days later than the last chapter :)

No Ones POV

"Emily!" Daniel called from downstairs trying to wake her up. He huffed when she didn't reply. He trudged up the stairs slowly and into their room. Daniel stood by the door and continuously knocked on it. "Emmmmilyy." knock, knock. "Ems come on wake up." He looked at her still sleeping away. Then he started to worry when she didn't answer. He took a step forward. "Emily?" She moved under the blankets...he breathed a sigh of relief. "Ok, come on Ems I'm serious you have to wake up. I've been trying to wake you up since 7:00." Her eyes fluttered open and she looked at me.

"Mm. I don't wanna get up."

"Alright then." Daniel said walking over to her. "I'm coming in." He jumped on the bed and hugged her trying to kiss her on the cheek.

"Mhm. Not now Daniel I have a headache."

"You have a headache?" he asked sarcastically. "You had to bust that card out on me?"

"Ugh some people get real headaches." she said still lying on her side facing away from Daniel; her face halfway hidden by the puff of blankets.

"Oh really?" he asked jokingly and kissing her multiple times on the cheek and forehead.

"I don't know maybe I still have the flu." she said turning over and looking at Daniel. He looked at her oddly.

"You've been stuck in bed like this for a week. Maybe its something serious Ems." He said sitting up and starting to look worried. He felt her head. "Hmm. You do feel a little warm. But you shouldn't still be like this. I'm going to schedule you an appointment today." he got up and walked over to the phone.

"Daniel," Emily sat up. "There's no need for that I'm ok." She stood up. "See?" But she got dizzy and her knees went week. She fell back onto the bed her head falling to the side. Daniel ran over to her.

"Emily?" he asked helping her sit up. Daniel held her in his arms; she leaned all her body weight on him. Her eyes looked dazed and like she didn't know what was happening. She looked around. "Emily are ok?"

"Y-ya...I just got dizzy that's all. " she rubbed her head and up looked at him. "Maybe we should schedule that appointment." Daniel helped lie her back down as he called the doctors. He scheduled an appointment.

"Alright Ems in 2 hours we have an aappointment with Dr. Cassey." He walked over to Emily and stroked her hair. He could tell she was fighting off the sleep. "Ems just go to sleep. Rest." he lied down next her and rubbed her arm. Within a few minutes she was out cold. He got off the bed quietly and went downstairs to try and do some work before they had to go.

At The Hospital

"Mrs. Thorne?" the nurse called. Emily and Daniel got up out of their chairs and walked out of the waiting room. "You're here to see Dr. Cassey?"

"Yes." they answered at the same time.

"Alright just sit tight and he'll be in, in a minute." the nurse walked out leaving them in the room. The room was painted a mellow yellow and had a tree painted on the wall that the examining bed was against. The doctor came in about 5 minutes later.

"Alright Mrs. Thorne will you please take a seat on the bed." he pointed to the bed as he took a seat on a rolling chsir. Emily hopped on. "Ok so what seems to be the problem?" he looked over her medical files and then closed the blue folder and stared at her.

"Well I've been feeling really sick. I have had flu like symptoms for over a week now but-"

"And what are those?"

"Excuse me? What is what?" Emily looked at him confused.

"Your symptoms. What are they?"

"Oh. Well I've been nauseous, dizzy, running a low fever on a few days, and occasionally vomiting because of the nausea." He looked at her.

"Mrs. Thorne I believe I think I know what you may have." He stood and put the folder on a small counter in the corner and leaned against the bed. "I see this in a lot of women your age. It's not rare at all but it will cause you some pain in the later months." Emily looked at him with fright not knowing what it is that she might have.

"Well...what is it?" She asked hesitantly.

He held up a finger. "I-I'll be right back. I think I have something that'll show you what it is." he was about to close the door when Daniel asked, "Well wait cant you just briefly tell us?!" He looked at them..."Some doctors would refer to it as a form of a...parasite." with that he smiled and closed the door.

Emily and Daniel glanced at each other. Emily had tears hanging in her eyes. She didnt want anything to be wrong with her.

A short while late the doctor came back rolling in a machine. Emily didn't know what it could have been.

"Alright Mrs. Thorne I'll need you to lie back so we can take a look at this.." he glanced at her. "'parasite.' And you can see what has been causing you to be sick."

"I-I dont think I wanna see it. It..." she made a funny face. "Kinda sounds gross."

"Oh dont worry Miss. Nothing like that in fact some see it as cute. Now will you please lift up your shirt." She did and he took a clear gel in a bottle and squeezed it onto her stomach as he said, "This will probably be cold." He put a 'wand' as the doctors call it; onto her stomach. Only then did Emily know what the machine was. There was an image on the screen and Emily immediately began to cry...That is of course cry tears of joy. The image displayed the beginning form of a baby lying in the fetal position.

"Mrs. Thorne...Congratulations! You're pregnant." He smiled at her. Daniel stood up and held Emily's hand while he had the biggest smile. They had been trying ever since they became engaged about a year ago. "By the looks of it..." he studied the ultrasound picture. "Your probably no further than 10 weeks along. You're baby seems to be in good health and well...perfect." He turned off the ultrasound and wiped the gel off of Emily's stomach. Emily pulled her shirt down and sat up Daniel instantly hugged her. They smile and Emily cried...they were beyond excited for a new human being in their life; one that will call them 'Mommy' and 'Daddy'.

They left the medical center walking on cloud 9. When they got in the car they both freaked out and shared how excited they were with each other. When they got home they sat on the porch swing and started going over names already. They couldn't wait for the baby to be here.

As they stared at the oceans crashing waves they thought abut names that they loved ever since kids. "What about...Marissa?"

"Hmm. Well what about Jazzman for a girl and Joshua for a boy?" Emily suggested.

"I love those names! We can keep Joshua but...what about Elizabeth or Carrie-Beth?" Emily looked at Daniel...

"Oh my gosh! I got it!" she squeeled. "Savannah Laurie and Joshua Andrew. I had an imaginary friend as a kid named Savannah because I loved the name so much, and I still do and my role model Laurie; she was my counselor and only friend...other than Savannah." she chuckled. " And Joshua after your middle name and Andrew after my grandpa who passed away when I was young."

"Oh my gosh Ems...I absolutely love it." Daniel smiled and Emily leaned her head on his shoulder. That night they watched the sun go down and then watched a movie called The Notebook by Nicolas Sparks.

The two of them fell asleep in the middle of the movie on the couches. Daniels feet were propped up on the coffee table and Emily's head was on Daniels lap. They both slelt peacefully that night knowing that they were going to be parents.
