Ok just to let you guys know in this chapter it is May. I know sometimes I read books and get lost in knowing when it is and how does this and that work with her pregnancy weeks and all that SO...Emily is 5 months and 1 week pregnant and it is May 1st :"D

CHAPTER BEGINS

It has been 2 weeks since that beautiful night that Emily and Daniel shared on the porch. Emily has been constantly taking her medications every day with a meal and the baby has been continually growing. Every now and then Emily could feel the baby kick and wiggle around in her, as if trying to get comfortable. It made her proud. Ems could not wait until she could finally hold her newborn. It was only a matter of 5 months until that wonderful and well-looked forward to, occasion occurs.

The time on the stove read 12:24 as Emily was sitting at the island counter in her kitchen working on the computer. She was processing several new arrangements for NolCorp and on the side texting Nolan constantly. Her back was aching and there was no one to relieve her of the pain that distracted her from completeing any thoughts. Daniel was at work and has been since 6 this morning. Emily wished he could take a few more days off than he has been. She wanted him home for every moment. For the moments when the baby kicked or when her back ached so bad, as today, that she would beg him to give her a massage. She wondered if this, more than usually, sore pain was caused from her medications. Extreme tiredness and pain were side effects but it was always hard to tell whether it was because of the pregnancy or the medicines.

Emily leaned over as much as her belly would allow her to and stretched her lower back. She stood up slowly and breathed out heavily. It relieved some pressure on her back but not all so she was forced to lie down on the couch. She half walked and half wobbled her way to the living room.

She reached the living room and a wave of nausea hit her like a brick. She quickly grabbed onto the back of the couch and leaned against it. She closed her eyes and waited for it to pass. But it didn't. She opened her eyes and the edges of her view seemed to grow darker as the nausea became worse. She knew if this dizziness continued she would fall over so, not wanting to injure her baby or herself, she slowly walked around the couch always sure to keep one hand on the furniture. She makes it around and plops herself down. She leaned her head back and was engulfed with more dizziness. She felt like she was going to be sick. She sat up straight getting herself prepared for if she has to make a run to the bbathroom. She waited a few minutes and decided she didn't have to use the bathroom, she just felt like wanting to. She slowly lied down, not wanting to make any quick moves for fear of heavier dizziness.

As Emily lied there with her head propped up against one arm of the couch, she stared down. She couldn't even see her toes. Her belly was pretty big now and she thought of the whole process of a growing belly to be amazing. She placed her hands on her perfectly round stomach and rubbed back and forth just thinking of a small human being inside her. Dwelling in her. Even though that dweller caused nausea and back pain she knew it was well worth it.

With sweet and happy thoughts Emily drifted off into a deep sleep.

40 minutes late

*Pounding on front door*

Emily was jerked out of her innocent dreams to pounding on the door. She slowly sat up closing her eyes as the dizziness persisted. She turned her head towards the door and squinted her eyes open just a little. The bright, afternoon sunlight hurt her head. She saw a tall shadow by her door. He pounded again and yelled something. Emily's brain was too foggy she couldn't even put together the slurred words. He continued to pound and yell.

"Coming." Emily half yelled and half murmmured. She stood up with the help of the couch. She was walking over to the door, halfway there, when the man dissappeared. She wondered who it might've been. Not even after a few seconds, it seemed, he came back and started to pick the lock. She got worried and went for her gun. She pulled out the gun from her desk and twirled around, pointing it towards the door. The sudden movement triggered a deep nausea and dizziness. This time she knew she was going to be sick. Then out of no where her nose started to bleed. She felt something wet drip from her nose. Emily looked down and saw two drops of dark  blood on the floor. She lifted her hand and felt by her nose. What? This was definitely from the medicines.  And then she felt sick again. This time worse.
