A Ming's Valentines
The easily visible people he saw the moment Ming walked out of his company front gate was his beautiful family. Kit holding little Waan and talking to Kwan, their girls. Bursting with warmth, Ming never felt more grateful for his family.
"DADDY!" Kwan shouted the moment she turned and saw him. She ran to his open arms. Catching his daughter easily, he walked to Kit and Waan.
"Awww, what's the occasion Kit?" Ming asked, flashing his still white teeth.
"Your daughter insisted that we pick daddy up. She has something to give you," Kit said, signaled Kwan to say something.
"Daddy, today in kindergarten, kru (teacher) asked us to make Valentine's card for mommy and daddy. She said to make it for people I love most so I made mommy's and Waan's and yours, daddy," Kwan said excitedly.
"Jing (Really) oh? I am so proud of you baby. I can't wait to see it," Ming said.
"And! Mommy and I made chocolates! Love shapes! For you daddy!" Ming was so touched and started kissing his precious princess repeatedly.
"Daddy! Stop, it tickles!" Kwan complained. Ming wouldn't stop.
"Hey, you guys, stop it. Let's go. I need to feed Waan her bottle soon and the traffic is getting horrible," Kit reminded. Ming smiled and kissed Kit on the cheek and the soft one on his second princess's forehead.
"Thank you na Kit-Kat! For this amazing Valentine's," Ming said.
"Don't be just yet. You have to clean up the kitchen mess from making the chocolates, I didn't have time because we came out to pick you in a rush," Kit reminded.
"I'll clean up any mess for you and for the girls," Ming said confidently.
"I hope you are right. It's your turn to take the night shift for Waan," Kit reminded again.
"Ok! I can't wait to play with Waan. Happy Valentines na babe," Ming shouted. Kit hushed him.
"Shut up! But, Happy Valentines too," Kit wished back.
It's a family Valentines.
