Pha closed their house door quietly. Walking pass his dimly lit living room, he could still make out the plate of snack bought most likely by Yo on their dining table. Pha smiled as he promised himself he will finish it after his shower. He headed to their bedroom, pushing their door gently. Their door is in need of a little oiling as it made a small creaking sound. Their room was also dimly lit and it smelled of his sleeping Yo and their baby son in his cot. Pha went over and placed a kiss gently on Yo's forehead. He put away a few volumes of his One Piece comics on the floor and pulled the blanket higher to cover Yo. Then he walked over to his baby's cot, to peer at his precious bundle. He bend to place a kiss on his little son's forehead and the little man wriggled, as if he felt ticklish then he begin to wake, greeting his por with a pair of big doe eyes. Pha smiled.

"P'Pha...you're home?" Pha turned to look at Yo who yawned and looked at him with the same pair of eyes now inherited by his son.

"Yo, yes...don't wake. Just continue sleeping," Pha said, stopping Yo from getting up.

"But...," Yo wanted to protest but Pha kissed him on the cheek again.

"Don't worry about me. You are tired being busy with the baby the whole day. I can handle myself. Sleep in darling. It's Saturday. We'll need the energy to keep up with him," Pha assured. Yo smiled and nodded. It didn't take him long before he dozed off again.

Pha felt at peace. Coming home after a long day at work from the hospital, all he needed was to see the faces of his Yo and baby to make all his fatigue go away.

Pha gathered his things for shower and he can't wait to put his baby son to sleep again and to get into bed to snuggle with his spouse. That's Phana Khongtanin's home sweet home.
