Baby Swimming Lesson

Yo: Heart, Love, come on, the water's not scary, see? Daddy is in the water. 

Pha: Yeah, daddy's here, come on to the water. It's cooling!

Heart: Are you sure there are no sharks in there daddy? 

Love: Yeah daddy, no sharks! 

Pha: Honeys, we are in a pool, there are no sharks. Come on now. 

Heart: There wouldn't be pirates in there too? 

Love: No pirates!? 

Yo: Well babies, I don't think there will be pirates BUT if you swim well, maybe you can meet mermaids. 

Love: P! Mermaids! Let's swim!

Heart: Ok! Let's swim, we can meet mermaids! 

Yo help both kids down the water. Both Pha and Yo each takes a kid and help them play swim around. 

Pha: Yo, I don't think there are any mermaids in the pool. 

Yo: P'Pha, let's focus on teaching them how to swim so they don't throw tantrum in kindergarten. 

Pha: Ok kids, let's learn how to float! Ready? 

Heart & Love: YES!

Kit: Waan, why aren't you in the water with your sisters? 

Waan: Mom! The water's scary! No! 

Kit: Honey, you did say you want to learn how to swim. So this is the time.

Waan: But the water's scary! 

Kit: You can put a buoy around you, see Namtarn? She is floating with a buoy around her. 

Waan: But that's so kiddy! I'm not a kid! 

Kit: How about a floating board like your sister then? See she's practicing with a floating board?

Waan: But see! She sank once she lets go of the board. NO! 

Kit: Waan...oh, you know what? I have an idea. 

Kit whistles and Ming appear out of the water somewhere. 

Ming: You whistled Kit-Kat? 

Kit: Yeah, Waan wants to learn how to swim but she is scared of the water. What should she do? 

Ming: Oh simple, just get on my back. Come on princess number 2, the seawater's warm today. Such a waste you aren't swimming like your sisters. Come on! 

Waan: Mom, is this safe? 

Ming: Hello, I'm your dad. Don't you trust your dad? 

Waan: Yes....

Kit: Now go on, put your arms around him. Ming, do not force her, take her a round and back. Be careful ok? 

Ming: OK! Let's go Waan! Swimming to your sisters! 

Kit watches for a bit before he joins them in the sea. A beautiful beach day out. 

ForthBeam

Forth: *shouts loudly* BEAM! Are you sure you are gonna do this?! 

Beam: *shouts back* YES! I'm gonna chuck Light first then Gear! You catch them ok? 

Forth: Ummm...OK! When you are ready! 

Beam chucks Light into the pool. He squeals happily. Forth swims to his son and after making sure he is fine, Forth signals for Beam again. 

Beam: Ok Gear, ready? One, two, three! WHEEE! 

Beam chucks Gear into the pool and Forth helps him stabilizes before both boys start swimming around. Beam walks into the pool to Forth.

Forth: Babe, we are supposed to teach the kids to swim, not chuck them into the pool. 

Beam: Well this is the only way to get them to swim now don't you think? See? They are swimming just fine. 

Forth: Yeah, I guess they got used to it since you chuck them into the pool so many times now. 

Beam: I think Gear likes being chucked into the pool to be rescued by you, Light likes being chucked into the pool by me. 

Forth: Ok, this is getting weirder. 

Beam: Who cares if it is weird as long as it works. See? They are swimming back now. Your turn to chuck them now. I'll catch. 

Forth: Ok. Boys, who wants to play CHUCK again follow me. 

Forth walks to the edge of water, both boys swim as quickly and as cutely as they could.

Beam: Urgh, my men are so cute.

Yukichi's Note: Kept thinking about swimming. I don't think I can swim now. Never swam in more than 10 years.
