Chapter 33

Deanna.

I woke up feeling better, buti walang hang over.  Diretso nako bathroom and had a  shower.

Kinikilig pako sa nangyari kagabi.  I was able to kiss Jema again.  Hindi ko napigilan ang sarili ko.  It's a good thing, tinulak nya lang ako haha.

Na miss ko sya, promise.  Ang sarap asarin at lambingin, parang bata.

I really need to talk to her.  Yun naman talaga ang plan ko ever since I came back kaso wala pang chance. 

Pero this weekend, kakausapin ko na talaga sya.

Tamang tama, bukas ko na pala makukuha ang bago kong kotse.  Kumuha na rin ako kasi nakakahiya na makisakay kay Fhen. 

And I'm planning to stay here na for good.

Excited na ako i-test drive ito.  And of course,  I want Jema to be my first passenger.  The problem is, sasama kaya sa akin yun?  How can I invite her?

I might ask the help of Kris or Fhen. 

If all fails, I will resort to kidnapping her na lang hehe.

After shower, I had my coffee and toast habang tinatawagan ko yung flower shop.  They told me that they already delivered the roses.

I chose yellow roses kasi nga it symbolizes friendship.   I want to be friends with Jema.

Really?  Are you sure?

Muna.  Friends muna.

Pagdating sa office,  I saw Jema agad and she's saying na dalian daw. 

So lumapit ako sa kanya and saw her holding a bleeding finger.  Hinawakan ko agad ito at biglang isinubo.

She felt tensed sa ginawa ko.  Ganun kasi ginagawa ko eh pag may sugat ang daliri ko. 

I know some might find it weird pero hindi ko naman gagawin yun sa ibang tao, sa baby ko lang. 

Naks, alam ni Jema baby mo na sya?

Oops mukhang nasobrahan ang sipsip ko kasi natulala na si Jema kaya I stop na. 

Nilagyan ko ng band aid ang daliri nya.

Then I grabbed the note na kasama ng flowers.  I read it while observing her. 

She's not impressed kasi may tinik daw.  Akala ko ba favorite nya ang yellow.  Mas gusto pa nya yung sunflowers galing kay Bea.

O baka ayaw nya yung roses kasi it's about friendship? 

Bigyan ko kaya ito ng red roses.

I think she still have no idea who's giving her flowers.

Before taking my lunch break, I dropped by muna sa restroom.  Bea was there too.

"Hey Deanna, thank you last night for taking care of Jema.  Nakauwi ba kayo agad?"

"Oh yeah, we stopped for a coffee muna then home.  How about you?  Nalasing si Jho, hindi ka nahirapan iuwi yun?"

"Hmmnn, a bit awkward at first but her mom was cool about it.   I just explained what happened baka akalain ng mom nya na ako ang nagyaya kay Jho uminom." 

"Tita invited me in but I declined.  Then umuwi na rin ako."

Aalis na sana sya ng bigla akong nagsalita.

"Ah Bea, I've been dying to ask you this eh.", napapakamot sa ulo na sabi ko.

She turned around and waited.
